SOURCE: the paper will not feed on the left side

Every time I see these I find pens, candy, clips, other objects have fallen down the back where the paper goes. One lady picked up her printer, turned it upside down and shook it and a bic pen fell out, It worked fine after that.

if the cartridge is new ( not refilled) the problem maybe is the carriage unit or the logic board, in both cases is better to replace the printer

a printer should be airprint enabled ideally, this will let you print from ipad etc, there is a list on the apple site: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
or you could try various apps, one popular one is print n share
