SOURCE: bottom oven of dacor double oven

I found the lower circuit breaker had been tripped. That didn't fix the problem but upon further inspection whoever had worked on the unit years ago had dropped a screwdriver that had lodged between the oven wall and the rear casing and shorted out the lower heating element. I removed the screwdriver and oven works fine now. I don't think that will solve the cmmclow problem but maybee the curcuit breaker is tripped.

SOURCE: Oven door isn't closed tightly on both sides.

If it is a door that lifts up and down, then the only solution is to replace both door hinges, as they are not normally adjustable, it is the springs that are weak.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Viking oven VESO107CSS, tried to start cleaning mode, it would not start. Now the oven will not heat and the cleaning light is flashing

If your Viking oven VESO107CSS will not heat and the cleaning light is flashing, it's possible that the oven control board is experiencing a fault or malfunction. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Turn off the power to the oven: Before attempting any repairs or troubleshooting, make sure the power to the oven is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Check the door lock: If the oven door is not properly locked, the cleaning cycle will not start. Check to make sure the door is securely locked.
  3. Check the oven control board: The control board may be experiencing a fault or malfunction. Try resetting the control board by turning off the power to the oven for a few minutes, and then turning it back on. If this does not work, the control board may need to be replaced.
  4. Check the thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that protects the oven from overheating. If the fuse is blown, the oven will not heat. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the fuse, and replace it if necessary.
  5. Check the heating element: If the heating element is damaged or burnt out, the oven will not heat. Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the element, and replace it if necessary.
If none of these steps solve the issue, it's recommended to contact a qualified technician or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

Oven doesn't seem to heat up enough

There is a cooling fan In a STOVES 720 to keep the fabric of the oven cool. If this fails the overheat thermostats will cut in and shut the heating elements off. The cooling fan does in fact blow air out of various places in and around the doors. The top oven has a small element and takes a long time to warm up. If you are not confident that the thermostats are working correctly, then I suggest you purchase an oven thermometer from someone like Lakeland and see how that relate to what you are actually setting on the cooker dial. As I said the top oven leave a lot to be desired!

Double wall oven: Model JKP26GOP13G. The upper oven heats but not up to the setting input. If setting is 350 F, for example, the stove only gets to around 200F.

I trust the door is sealed correctly. If heat is escaping this could be the problem. If the seal is okay the only thing it could be is the oven thermostat controller. It sounds like it is faulty and needs replacing.

How long to run self clean on viking professional

The "Self Clean" will run for quite a while up to 4 hours I believe, during this time, the stove heats up to about 900 degrees!! and during this time the Door is automatically closed via special locks. It will allow you to open once it is finished, it should "Signal" this event.

Heat escaping, uneven baking, longer cooking times

Either the seals need to be replaced, or you may have weak oven door hinges, and the door is not closing properly.
Only solution would be to replace both hinges if this is the case.

Uneven cooking in fan oven

There are many reasons for uneven cooking in any oven
These are just a few possibilities.
Not pre- heating oven
Putting too much in the oven, thereby restricting air circulation.
Not putting on correct shelf level.
Use of foil in the oven which can reflect heat.
Badly fitting door.
Perished door seal.
Thermostat not controlling temp properly. Check with oven thermometer.
There plenty of other resons besides these, but these are some of the more important ones.
So do check these points..
If you are still experiencing problems, then you will probably have to call an oven expert in too look at it.
Plz rate my solution
.Thanks.

Viking Double Electric Oven VEDO127T

Probably a faulty heater element, some ovens have more than one element in the compartment, so it is possible you only have part heat.
