Question about Viking Ovens
The top French Door ovens. The top with thermometer at 350 heats correctly. The bottom oven set at 350, heats to 400 degrees with thermometer. How to we adjust this?

I found the lower circuit breaker had been tripped. That didn't fix the problem but upon further inspection whoever had worked on the unit years ago had dropped a screwdriver that had lodged between the oven wall and the rear casing and shorted out the lower heating element. I removed the screwdriver and oven works fine now. I don't think that will solve the cmmclow problem but maybee the curcuit breaker is tripped.

As for the temp adjust it is best if you get an repair man out to do that.
Good Luck

SOURCE: Oven door isn't closed tightly on both sides.
If it is a door that lifts up and down, then the only solution is to replace both door hinges, as they are not normally adjustable, it is the springs that are weak.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
