If you use Blue Tooth, wires are not needed.
Press the manual Mode button to find blue tooth mode. Green light will display. Blue Tooth is a general signal sent out. There is no specific setting for TV.

Check your TV's Blue Tooth settings and have it scan. Default password/code for the sound bar is 0000.

Also check your remote batteries. Sometimes they are installed backwards by the factory so they won't go dead.

Remove the SD card.

You can change the settings by clicking on the cog wheel on the desktop to change the speakers back to normal.

Maybe the SD card is damaged.
Try if it is working on a different device or computer.

It's a relatively cheap speaker. If it doesn't charge via usb the speaker is defective. No repairs are available.

have you tried holding it down? get an AC adapter and plug it into the wall and try it again and if it doesnt work, then you might wanna call ematic support and ask for a solution.

i am having that same problem, and ontop of that my ematic is frozen! when i turn it on the picture of the river comes up and stays up untill you turn it off. i have the ematic 5 series, is thier a solution?
