Yes, Bernina has the manual for the Record 930 Electronic on this support page: https://www.bernina.com/en-US/Support-US/Out-of-Print-Manuals/BERNINA-manuals/BERNINA-Sewing-Systems . The current link is https://www.bernina.com/getdoc/04e17703-c7bc-47fc-b8f3-5dca88d21a05/BERNINA_930_manual . The manual comes as two compressed PDFs in a single zip file.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Bernina 930 where to put oil

There are two key points I suggest customers can do themselves to help lengthen the life of their machine. One is your hook and the other is the needle bar...
Hook - Open your bobbin door, removee the bobbin case/bobbin. On the upper left corner there is a small latch, push in the latch and your shuttle race ring will fall down forward. You can now remove your stainless steel hook. You need to keep this hook clean and the lip it fits back into clean and void of lint and debris. On the back of this hook or the "lip" that the hook fits back into apply a small amount of hook/sewing machine oil.
Needle Bar - Open up your head cover, the needle and needle bar clamp is attached to a long stainless steel rod that travels vertically inside your head. All sewing machines have a needle bar that looks like this. This bar travels thru two brackets attached to the frame of the machine. Rotate your handwheel and clean the needle bar well of debris. Rotate the handwheel so that the needlebar is in it's highest point and apply a small amount of oil to the upper and lower bracket of the frame, rotate the handwheel so the needlebar slides back down and therefore lubricating it and the inside of the brackets.
Hook oil or sewing machine oil is relatively inexpensive from all quilt, sewing machine, repair shops.

Be sure to take your machine in a minimum of every three years for proper cleaning and lubricating of all the other parts (This is of course for average home sewing machine use 8hours a week)

SOURCE: Bernina 930 foot control cord

Not easily - the plug is molded-on so it's best to get a complete new cord - they're still available.

SOURCE: Bernina Record 930 Electronic, seldom use, like

Bernina 930 Records are notorious for the basting stitch sticking which eventually locks up the machine. To prevent this from happening, be sure to run the basting stitch for a few minutes every month. If it is stuck, you'll need to take it to a Bernina technician.

If it is not the basting stitch, it could be a broken plastic gear (trip to the Bernina technician) or it needs oiling.

If it is not a broken gear, then it probably needs oiling. Your Bernina mechanical requires regular oiling and cleaning even if you don't use it (ie, every time you change the bobbin, every 8 hours of sewing, or every 6 months if not in use). HINT: recommend Bernina oil or similar good quality oil for mechanical machines, NOT 3-in-1 oil, WD-40, or cooking oil!!! One or two drops of oil in every oil hole and every place that metal part rubs against metal part.

Treat your Bernina well and it will serve you well for many years.

Why is my Bernina 930 Record is squealing?

The Bernina Record 930 has two belts (for upper and lower cogs). You can buy the belts at some sewing machine parts supply shops. One source is https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bernina-930-sewing-machine-parts.aspx . Manuals Lib has the service manual for the Bernina 930 here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1353778/Bernina-930.html . Page 58 shows how to adjust the tension on these belts, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1353778/Bernina-930.html?page=58#manual . See pages 2-4 to remove the covers to access the machine internal parts. Wait at least 30 seconds after unplugging the machine before removing the panels to allow the capacitors to discharge.

I hope this helps.

My bernina 930 speed has basically came to zero. the wheel is turning but the needle is moving very slow and even stops moving even when the wheel is turning. what could be the problem?

Um, how long since the last clean and oil? Sounds like the machine has seized due to old dry oil preventing things from moving. Avoid using the machine until the problem is addressed or the motor may be damaged. (Do this and you will be surprised at how nicely your 930 will run!)

I am looking for a bernina 930 service manual. I dropped the feed dogs and they will not come back up.

Most likely they have seized due to lack of regular oiling. I have used the following method on several older seized Berninas with great success. Just be sure to NOT get any oil near the 930 basting stitch mechanism (about the middle of the needle bar) or it will most likely lock the machine.

This is a diagram for the Bernina 830 Record, but it will give you a good idea of what & where to look for oil ports.

Can I sew a Blanket stitch with my Bernina 930 Record machine?

Once upon a time, a blanket stitch used to be a long wide zigzag stitch. If you are referring to an electronic stitch version that would look like the inverse of a blind-hem stitch, then no, this is not possible on the 930 record machine.
What is nowadays called a blanket stitch used for quilting applications requires the machine to stop feeding during the stitching cycle to allow for the single stitch to the left and then back again. An electronic step motor machine, common to all newer Bernina machines can do this and or similar functions. That being said, don't be thinking about getting rid of your 930. Better to get one of the newer units for occasional blanket stitching and keep the Swiss made 930. The Bernina 930 is a lifetime machine. Computers machines are not lifetime class machines by virtue of being computers. Electronics are short lived.

What is the difference between a bernina record 930 and just a bernina 930

At the present time, Bernina 930 Record and Bernina 930 are the same machine. Although, technically the name is Bernina 930 Record, referring to the mostly mechanical sewing machine produced in the 1980's. They are very coveted machines and one of the more popular models.

However, Bernina has, in the past few years, begun producing computerized machines and labeling them with the same numbers of older mechanical machines (makes things very confusing), ie Bernina 830 Record vs Bernina 830 computerized model. At this point in time, Bernina has not yet produced a computerized 930.
