Hi,
There is a problem with the lens....there is dirt stuck in it or it is out of calibration.
Turning it on and off many times can fix it sometimes if it is a calibration issue or if it is just too tight to work properly...
After a number of tries, if it still does not work, then do not try to force it or do anything.
Return it under warranty and get a different one... you got a lemon...

Your camera only has 20MB Internal Memory. So, it can only store very few pictures (depending on the settings). It is VERY advisable to use an SD card for your camera so you can save hundreds - thousands of pictures.The bigger the SD card capacity, the more pictures you can save.

you can not clean at your self. Use dry cotton or ear buds for cleaning the lens front side. After that if its still there then use compressed ai in surrounding the lens. After that if the spot still there then you need to visit service center for cleaning the lens internal side.
