SOURCE: Hunter ceiling fan remote 85095-01 stopped working

it also could be one of the the jumpers fell out of the remote
they are located just above the battery. you will need to match the placement of the jumpers with the receiver mounted in the fan.

SOURCE: I would like to use 60 watt bulbs in my new

I did a little research on the part in fan, and its a watt governor! the government put this into effect in 2008. bush and obama did this. i read an article on the watt governors. and one person said his lights were flickering on and off. he just disconnected the governor and reatached the wires and the lights work great. they did this to keep the cost down thats why the watt governors. this was from a fan rep. part # on watt governor--98480-02 remove governor and reattach the wires for the light if you have any further questions please message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situation Thanks again

SOURCE: My Hunter Remote FCC IN2TX01

hi there,
Maybe you can try doing these steps:

1. Adjusting the dip switches:

Each fan/remote combination is set to work on a specific frequency, much like tuning in a specifc radio station. Some fans allow you to set this frequency by means of a set of small switches called "dip switches". There is one set located inside the remote, and the other set would be position on the fan, with the remote receiver electronics. This would be either on top of the motor, or inside the switch housing or ceiling canopy. These switches "tune" the remote and fan (received) to the same "station" and therefore must be set to the same setting. If a fan is not responding to the remote you can check to make sure that the switches are set to the same setting in both locations, and/or try a different setting. They are also useful if you have two remote fans, you will want to be sure each fan is set different so the remotes do not interfere. Lastly, if some other wireless device is interfering with the fan (causing it to turn on and off seemingly at random) such as a garage door opener or cordless phone, you can try a different setting on the dip switches.

2. Universal remotes:

If your fan remote is lost or broken, many suppliers, offer a universal remote designed to work with the majority of different remote operated ceiling fans. Many are also universal for operating televions etc so you can control all your leisure and comfort devices from one unit.

3. Replacement parts:

Unfortunately, outside of Universal remotes, general replacement parts are not available for remote control systems. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer.

3a. Repair:

Also unforunately, most problems with remote controls cannot be repaired outside of what is suggested above. If you have problems, contact the manufacturer, perhaps the fan is under warranty, or parts are available. Otherwise chances are the fan will stay broken.

4. Add-on remote kits

Some fan remote systems are not built into the fan, they were an option added by the installer at an additional cost. Usually they consist of a remote receiver wired to the fan inside the ceiling canopy, and the fan will still have a pullchain that is not used. If this is the case then the receiver can be removed and replaced with another remote/receiver kit, or the fan can be operated as standard with the 3 speed pullchain.

If all else fails:

contact hunter and see if a replacement remote is available:

SOURCE: hunter fan light switch won't turn off light

by looking at the sw. it looks like u can only put it to a low dim and not off and the button at the bottom is all off including the fan if this is correct u should be able to change to a different kind of fan sw. combo or even a remote style that comes with a receiver ,also your fan should have three wires at the box a light wire "blue" a fan wire "black" and a neutral "white" oh and a ground "green" in order to switch these separate u need those 3 wires at the sw. also . but with a remote u only need the hot and neutral it hooks up in the box or canopy of the fan to the receiver all wires are marked for easy installation turn power off to be safe u can install a regular sw. to over ride the remote and turn power off at the fan .......its alot i know but hit me up if u need more help.

Hunter royal oak blinking lights

It sounds like there is a dimmer circuit involved and the low current of the LED and the electronics in the CFL do not work with standard dimmer circuits. The governor is actually a run capacitor for the motor. Removing that causes it to burn more energy and opperate an a much lower efficiency.
