Try to blow your nose whenever you feel stuffy or runny to expel all the nasty stuff. Drink lots of tea (herbal or lemon with honey recommended) or hot drinks along with juices rich in vitamins.
This will help to kill of the source of the problem if this is a common or head cold. This method helped me feel less horrible and function more human again.

if this is the type with the open frame motor (meaning its got no round cover) then i suggest you soak the pump (not the motor ) in hot/warm water for a bit , sugar from drinks mix has dried up inside pump not alowing pump to turn , hot water will soften sugar and allow motor to turn
