I have this 2-Disc CD Recorder but I don't have the manual on how to hook it up to my recevier. I'm not sure if I'm to hook it up to the Analog or to the Coaxial Digital. I did try to hook it...

Hi,
No problem,You need to connect "CD" to" Receiver" in a regular way just to play ..
(output of CD-TO- input of Receiver) ..use either "RCA analog (red/white ) " or "optic " cable.(any standard optical cable )...optic is the best way to connect it..Remember your CD's "OUT" goes into" IN "
pls also remember, wherever you connect your CD on your Receiver, you should switch the source selector accordingly to correspond to the connection on the back...
Hope this helps!..if more help requires pls let me know.
Take care and please

Can I record from a cassette player to the koss

should be able to go directly from tape out of cass deck to input of your koss, as long it has line level inputs (which it should). from there its play on the tape and record on the cd rcrdr. seems the simplest solution

Yes, but you, like I could use an owners manual for this thing, as it isn't as easy to operate as the Philips Audio CD recorders. Owner's manual anyone?
You can just press input select for analog, press record, wait then press 'play' to start recording.

Recording

Willthe b deck playback a normal cd? Sounds like your record laser is gone. It's a philips laser and they are known for it.

Cdr200 recording

Your CD recorder has 2 sets of phono (rca) sockets on the back. You probably have the outputs connected to your amplifier & speakers. All you need to do is connect your tape deck (or any source except for a turntable) to the inputs sockets on the back of the CD deck.

You might need to switch to external or analogue recording on the recorder.

If you are going to be doing a lot of this type of recording & want it set up more permanently, it might make sense to reconfigure your hi-fi. Shout if you want help with this!

Koss cdr200 dual burner

I had an issue similar to this - I found if I didn't try to record from the internal player it worked ok. Does it say 'recover' when you try to record anytime? If you open the unit, you might see some capacitors on the power supply on the left hand side have leakedand the power is cutting in and out. 'Recover' usually comes up when a recording is interupted if you switch the unit off during recording.
