Hi i have a jvc car radio model kd-r466 can i connect a equalizer directly to it

make shure you have the yellow on the back to a 12+ constant and red to a +12v switched you may have them backwards

SOURCE: Car radio connections

Red wire to acc fuse
yellow= b+ fuse
blue= to amp amplifier
white= +left front speaker
white/black left front - front speaker
gray= + front right
gray/black= - front right
green= + rear left
green/black= - rear left
purple= + rear right
purple/black= - rear right
black = ground---to car metal
orange with white line to illimination

CLICK HERE for the owner's manual.

Setting the time is covered on page 12.

Press SEL button
Scroll through the PSM menu items with |<< and >>| until you come to CLOCK H
Adjust by turning the VOL knob
press |<< or >>| again until you get CLOCK M
Set again with the VOL knob - then press SEL again to exit.
