Try down powering system, wall plug and battery. after powering up, flashing lights should go away after warm up period (under 2 minutes).

Turn the alarm off two times. If it still indicates A/C not ready, press the * key and it will tell you what zone is open or what zone has a low battery.

SOURCE: i disconnected the ademco from

The AC power wires for a Lynx (actually, almost any alarm panel) are from a transformer--there is no "hot and ground". It doesn't matter which wire you put to which terminal, as long as you connect them to the AC connections.

My Ademco Lynxr-EN went into alarm mode with a number 29. On reading I see code 26, 27, 28, 29 mean low battery pack but what if just number 29 and it shows alarm not just low battery?

multiple low battery ones in sequence , mean a remote low battery. There is usually only one reporting zone on the remote (panic). That would be why only one zone shows alarm.

As per request. re: reset/fix indoor motion detector.

on all the Honeywell or Ademco wireless motion detectors I have worked on the light will not come on with the cover in place, it is set that way to conserve battery life. If you want to be sure it is working properly arm your system and wait at least 4 minutes before walking in front of he motion then walk in front of it and see if it trips the alarm.

See if the 'disarmed ready to arm' status announcement on the 5828V only happens when you walk in front of a motion detector. If so - replace the motion detector with a new one as older motion detectors could cause this to occur on an intermittent basis.
