When put cooking time and press start timer start working down but microwave do not heat or start
There are different variants why it stopped working properly. I've experienced kinda similar situation, however I'n not that smart in techs to try to fix it. So, I just bought a new one. By the way, I've had only brand models for the couple of years, however I decided to try buying something more affordable, but still qualitative. I've been browsing in searchings for the best budget variant when I came across https://readyresearch.com/best-microwaves-under-100/ . This article consists of the list of best microwaves "under 100", the buyer's guide and even FAQ is provided for the common questions, so everything you need to know before making a decision is gathered in one useful article. I've bought Nostalgia RMO7RR Retro Microwave which matches all the characteristics it was given there. Just look at that red color! Perfect choice. I suggest you try to look through this page and pick sth with lower price. At least it wouldn't be as disappointing as if brand model breaks down, so just check it!

There is a internal locking mechanisim that has 2 or more switches that is usually attached with two or more screws next to the door latch side. Crack open the micro and adjust this by shutting the door then pushing this assy toward the latches untill all the switches look like they are being pushed in fully. If this doesn't solve the problem one of the switches or possibly more are defective. Call a local appliance repair center and get a switch there called micro switches.

Quite often this is due to a bad door switch. Opening the door while cooking (without first hitting the STOP pad) is the primary cause of door switch failure. If you or a friend decide to work on it, we have *critical* safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info (as well as a text file which helps in diagnosing and repairing door switch problems) at our site, which is linked at our listing here on FixYa: http://tinyurl.com/yzjozk

The problem is that the magnatron is not getting power. Chance is that if could be a bolwn fuse inside the unit. If the fuse don't fix it then that leaves the charging diode, capacitor or the magnatron, or high voltage xformer of which without technical epertize I would not recomend attempting to replace. good luck

This
is usually caused by either a bad door switch or a loose door switch
mount, which are pretty simple problems to fix.
Even though a door
switch clicks, it may still be bad inside.
Door switch
or mount trouble is usually caused by slamming the door or by opening
the
door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.
There are
plastic mounts inside the microwave which hold the door switches and
onto which the door latches lock when you close the door.
The screws on these
mounts may be loose. If they get too loose, the switches will not be
activated properly.
Sometimes it's
a broken tab on the switch holder, allowing the switch to rotate just
out of position. This tab
can be hard to see, since it is under the
bottom edge of the switch.
One test that sometimes
helps is to
gently lift up (and/or push down) on the door or handle as you try to
start it. If it works or tries to work, then it's a door switch mount
or
door alignment issue.
If you or someone you
know decide to look
into it, we have critical information on safety, disassembly and door
switches at our site, and our link is at our listing here on

Ok just figured this out! It is a problem with the alignment on the lower door switch. I took the cabinet off and lifted up on the door switch slightly and voila! It works. You could probably fix this without taking it apart, just lift up on the door ever so slightly. I hope this works for you.
