Bought used Sprint Tablet from Pawn shop it is locked with a old Google account and won't let me log in

If you know the Google account used on the tablet, should be able to reset lock code and access it.

What you need is another device, like a computer or another Android.

On the other device, login to the Google account used on the tablet though a browser, like chrome, Firefox, etc.

Once logged on, do a Google search for device manager. It'll probably ask for your login stuff again for security purposes.

Should bring up a list of all devices with that account, choose your tablet from the list.

It'll show a map of where your tablet is, along with other options. Look for something that says "lock this device" or something along that line, select it. It will ask you to assign a new lock screen code to your tablet, do so.

Enter the new lock code into your tablet and pa-chow, you got access.

This works at long as the device is on. Another handy tool in device manager is that if you lose it in your house, you can set an alarm off to find it, even is the volume is set to off.

If it's telling you the tablet is locked and requesting Google credentials to continue, you can't bypass that.

That's an anti-theft feature. You'll have to have the owner of the last Google account who logged into the tablet log into it to continue.

You cant use someone else account. You will need to do a factory reset and log in to your own account.

You can try to log on to use samsung findmymobile website using your Samsung account that you also added on your tablet to unlocked your tablet.
Note: If you still cannot access it, the last option is to perform a hard key reset to your tablet.

Possible you're tablet has a Reactivation Locked that it will only recognize the very firsy google account that was set up on it when the fisrt owner bought it. You need to contact the original owner for this. If still not working, last option is to send it for repair to Samsung for the removal of the reactivation lock.

1) Power down your tablet.
2) Tap the power-on button and volume down button at the same time
3) Tap and hold the power-on and volume down buttons until you see the android alien icon
4) tap the power-on and volume up again at the same time until you see the System recovery menu.

select (wipe data/factory reset) bush pushing the power button to select it and restart the device after.

First solution is to use Google account associated with mobile.You need to log in into your Google account and then you can disable or change the pattern lock.

Second solution is to boot into recovery mode and reset the tablet - you will loose all you data however.

The third solution is only for techies and involves using the Android debug bridge to reset the tablet - not for the faint hearted.

I fear a factory reset is your only option. But that's not much of an issue if you use Google backup as everything will be downloaded again when you first log back in to your google account.
