My xperia premium z5 i bought nov 3, 2016, the right side if the screen now has lines running down the right side, its getting bigger every day. Bell tells me only sony can help me.

usualy this problem is cause by the lcd drive board.

horizontal lines = horizontal sync off . mitsbishi always seemed to have this problem .. on the older sets I would take the back off and inside deep on the board i would adjust a pot and sync it right .... and never had a recall, maybe your newer model has this too .. this little control,

If the screen works for a short while and then completely fails once the TV warms up you have a problem with the main unit video board or the LCD control logic board. Most often if the picture cuts out but audio continues to work the logic board is over heating and should be replaced. However if the picture cuts out and audio shuts off as well then its your video input board.
