Sony Cybershot DSC W830
SOURCE: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-N1 - download photos from camera onto computer
You need to go to MENU, roll down to SET UP
if you roll down you would see at top
"Camera1", "Camera2" and "Memory Stick"
go to Memory Stick and roll down to COPY
go to ALBUM...
and then she ask you...All data in Album will be copied. Ready? touch OK ....
Now you create a folder with all the photos in the memory and you can download it.
I hope this help you...Liz Annette PR

SOURCE: Sony Cybershot Lens Stuck inside!!!
I have the exact same problem with my Cyber-shot; the lens is stuck inside. After trying everything to loosen it (like wedging a razor knife between the sections, even dropping it or banging it against a book, etc) non of which I recommend, I finally got it open by PUSHING on the black telescoping section surrounding the lens itself. For some reason, this worked!

SOURCE: Software installation problem with Sony PMB and PlayMemories Home
Dear ir:
Proceed with the control panel, and look for restore point, since the computer was o.k , is the best solution.
Of course we are supposing the unintalling was successful.
God bless you

SOURCE: retrieving deleted photos from a sony cybershot dsc w30 digital camera
I have had success with this... Download this photo recovery software called asoftech photo recovery, follow the steps here
how to recover deleted photos from camera
You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
You need to use a card reader either one already in your computer (some have one, some don't). Or buy an external USB card reader. They are around $2 on Amazon.
