Hi I need to know how to enter the Service Mode for Apex television Model:PF2720. My screen is cut off on both sides about half an inch and I was hoping service mode would let me fix this problem. Thanks for the help.
On a standard PU1 chassis use the following:
1. Decrease the volume to 0
2. On remote press and hold the MUTE button till the color of MUTE displayed changes color. At the same time press MENU on the front of the Tv.
CH +/- to select
Vol +/- to change value
All other chassis:
Decrease the volume to 0, Press mute and video at the same time.
Adjust the TV with menu select buttons on remote.
Exit with the power button.

Also, my Chassis No. is CH-16CD and I have tried a few service modes on other models but none seem to work. I have heard that for my model it is mute on remote control and video on TV while volume is on 0, but nothing happens.
I also have the same chassis number but none of those solutions work for me
Zoso, how did you end up fixing the problem? I have the same model and I can't seem to get these solutions to work. Is there a physical "service mode" I have to put it in before this will work? Do I have to hold something for a long time for it to work? Thanks.
