WHY DOES THIS SEARCH SHOW.
The Viewsonic VSR220 no such thing.?

Turn the monitor around, 180
and see the TAG sticker with real model told
no PC told , what PC is this?

yes that is a PC (android)
but can do monitor like duty. too.
it needs service.
if screen is dead, it has power problems
as the screen must at least show a viewsonic splash as power is turned on.
try it on a 2nd room AC power jack yet:?

if in warranty take it back to the store
or call viewsonic for help.
the android PC can use an HDMI cable to a PC and works as a monitor.too.
the manual states

power on and power on led glows normal , not yellow or flash.

then that tells you screen is NOT DEAD is it? now? here?
(PC is dead or missing)

NO connections on 1 or more inputs.
NO sync
no signal
OUT OF RANGE

and goes black screen NEXT,. if all that fails power supply is bad.
if all that works the menu button works for 15 seconds turned on with no PC, and also works on all PCs if connected to one that are all good and not sleeping. test the monitor on 2 PCs if confused.

Computer screen on, Projector off

If you are running Windows 7\8:
Leave the ViewSonic projector on.
Right click anywhere on the desktop and select "Screen Resolution".
In the display column, it will give you an option to select your computer monitor, the ViewSonic, or to clone the displays.
Select your computer monitor display only.
Shut off the ViewSonic projector.

If you are running Windows XP:
The process is basically the same except you find the settings under Control Panel > Display.

My ViewSonic PJD6221 Projector shows scattered white dots on the screen

Your dlp chip is going bad and cannot be fixed economically. Several of the mirrors on the chip are hanging up and they won't come back. It will just get worse. My Sharp XR32X is doing the same thing. New projector time.

Vsonic flat screen monitor need blink codes

hi do you mean you are asking for the blinking codes on your viewsonic pc monitor?. usually lcd monitor for pc has no blinking codes, if your monitor just only a blinking indicator and won't turn on, you must check first the source from your pc if their is a signal to turn on the monitor. if just blinking only then won't turn on you must check the power supply of the monitor usually the main cause is bulging capacitor. just replace it with the same value and rating thanks for consulting the fixya good luck.

You should replace the lamp it is already damage, when you replace the lamp do not forget to reset the lamp hour meter.

If you have an older graphics card the signal will still be searching for a monitor. Contact Viewsonic and they will get you a non DDC adapter.

Really if this happens then you may want to contact viewsonic to see if it still in warrant. Reminder that most of their monitors have a 3 year warrany from the date of purchase. So make sure that you have your proof of sales/receipt/POP/invoice or what ever you want to call it ready. This model is old so they will ask for it if its a first time repair.
