Configure your router..open ports 80 and 9000...and assign each system its own address..go to lorextechnology.com and create a ddsn account, follow instructions..and your connection problem is resolved. you will need your model number handy (underneath dvr).

SOURCE: my computer does not recognize camera software

I had the same problem. I am not in any way a computer guy. The problem was, I had been downloading the pictures from my Canon digital Camera onto a Dell desktop with windows XP through the front USB port for years, no problems. One day, it just stopped working, and I would get a "unknown device" message when I went into the device manager. If I tried to open up the software that came with the camera and clicked "start image transfer" , I would get "camera not found" Anyway, I googled it, and found on one forum somewhere someone suggested the culprit could be a newly downloaded or upgraded version of realplayer. So I went into realplayer tools, preferences. I turned off the automatic updates and message center and re-booted as instructed. I plugged in the camera, and it worked. If the person who posted that information is reading this, I thank you. I would have NEVER figured that out, and would likely be buying a new camera for no reason.

do you have a program on your computer to open the file?? When you got your camera it should have come with a CD ROM that you would need to download to your computer so the pics would have a place to go . Mine is Lexmark Imaging Studio. You will need some form of program inorder to download the photos. If you have this them let me know so you can try something else

Can my Lorax mc2700 be viewed from my phone

The Lorax MC2700 is a portable radio that does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. As a result, it cannot be viewed or controlled from a phone or other device. It can only be controlled using its physical controls

Lorex eco 130 can not get to menu, screen shows Lorex page

There should be a paper clip size hole somewhere on the back of the unit. If you depress the button in there it should be the reset. The problems sounds to me more of a hard drive issue though.

I purchased a system from Lorex model # LHV08C02

Lorex used standard BNC and provides Siamese cables for all their DVR systems; like this one.. If you want to use your own, use 75 Ohm RG-59 or RG-58 with compatible connectors. If using premade cables, use BNC female to female. Power is separate and is provided by the 'wall wart' style power adapter.

No signal lorex

please make this test with your surve cameras:

Monitoring Problems

  • Cameras can now be monitored remotely, even through the Internet. However, there are times when monitoring a Lorex camera will not work because of browser or software incompatibility. Check to see if your system's software runs fine prior to use and get software updates as necessary. Because continuous monitoring can be tiring, installation of motion sensors helps make the monitoring process more efficient.

Internet Problems

  • Internet monitoring is now a very popular feature of security systems where users can get surveillance camera footage from their homes, business establishments or even while on vacation. Poor or slow Internet service can lead to difficulty accessing data. When monitoring surveillance cameras away from your home or business, be sure you have a fast and reliable Internet connection.

God bless you

Why do my lorex cameras intermittently black out?

THIS COULD BE A FEW THINGS I CAN THINK OF
1ST ARE CAMERAS WIRELESS ? IF SO SOMETHING COULD COME ON INTERMITTANTLY AND BLOCK SIGNAL FROM GETTING TO BASE UNIT, IF THIS IS SO ONLY A SPECTRUM ANALIZER WILL BE ABLE TO TELL YOU WHAT IT IS .
SECOND IF NOT WIRELESS CK YOUR RECORD SETTINGS IN SETUP YOU MIGHT BE OVER TASKING HD DRIVE , VIDEO CAPTURE ONCE PER SECOND IS NORMAL ANY FASTER IS NOT NEEDED UNIT WON'T HOLD VIDEO IF HD IS BUSY WRITING SO IT DROPS SECONDS OFF FINAL RECORD
