Question about Delta Plumbing
The poppet inside may be too short or take too long to reach the top when the feed is pushing it up to the brass ring, the water goes out the top and not to the hole at the base that send water to the spray head. Raise the base with a solid washer ( half circle, around the water feeding pipe in the center and leave the other opening open, so the water can go through that pipe to the spray head)

For me, the issue was the washer that's exposed on the underside of the circular brass piece that's exposed when you unscrew the top (I wasn't able to find any documentation that explains what anything is called). My washer looked fine, but I removed it, added some silicone o-ring lube i had and re-assembled. Stopped leaking.

Tuen the stops off unsder the sink . Remove the alaen screw from the handle. Using a spanner wrinch or a needle nosed pliers spred apart unscrew the large nut that has two slots. Lift the whole assembly out. Take assembly to the plunmbign supply and match ius the kit that youy need with has two new rubber seals and two springs and maybe a new spanner nut. It also comes with the spanner wrench and allen wrench needed to renstall. Tip you may be able just to tighten the spanner nut(clockwise) and stop the leak w/o rebuilding it.

BEHIND THE HANDLE THERE SHOULD BE A SET SCREW THAT HOLDS THE HANDLE ON THE STEM. THE SET SCREW WILL BE BEHIND THE LONGEST PART OF THE HANDLE LOOK AROUND BACK OF THE HANDLE. AFTER REMOVING THE HANDLA THERE WILL BE A STEM AND A NUT THAT HOLDS THE ASSEMBLY IN THE HOUSING

easy fix, shut-off water at under-counter angle valves and water meter, pop-out the blue and red insert located on the front of the handle of the faucet, turn faucet on to relieve pressure, loosen allen screw under red and blue insert, pull handle up, remove nut under handle, remove plastic insert gasket and stem under the nut, notice two rubber gaskets.... remove them and the springs behind them and replace, when putting the insides of the faucet back in pay close attention to the notches and grooves,,,, the parts only go back one way....

Check that we were looking at same parts diagram, but I would say RP-70 Ball assy., as well as RP-4993 Seats & springs . If it's only dripping, just seats and spring will usually get you by, but if they are sending parts, free of charge, or ball assy., isn't too expensive, I'd change it too. I have had some luck with removing ball assy, cleaning it well with fine steel wool, then removing seals, and springs, stretching spring slightly, to add more pressure to seal, clean seal, then dab on a little vaseline to seals, and re-assemble.
