Changing the door lock is one of the easiest things to do in a washing machine. Just note which wires go where & get a new door switch.

it is most likely your machine may have a draining problem. if it cant drain the water out the door wont open. if you open the small door at the front bottom of the machine you will find the little black drain hose. unplug the hose off the door and drain machine. when the machine is empty try powering on and opening the door. if still no luck you will see (in the same location) a red pull ring. undo the screw holding the ring in position and gently pull until the door releases. it would be worth undoing the button trap lid to access the pump and check for any blockages (most common coins **** pins etc) let me know how you get on.

Make sure the programme selector switch is at an end of wash position as these door locks are interlocked to prevent accidental opening during operation. There is also a 2-3 minute time delay after the was finishes so disconnect for say 5 minutes and try again.

If it still doesn't open you will need to get access to the mechanism dependent on what type of relrase mechanism you have;

if it is a push button release with a cable to the lock sometimes you can remove the top panel of the machine and pull on the cable or linkage to open.

If it is a lever type release mechanism this is more difficult to open but you can sometimes reach and release it by the same method.

Always disconnect the machine from the electricity supply before working on it.

Open the little door on the lower left corner of the front of the machine, and pull on the red tab in there. door will pop.

The He Bleach is sortof a marketing gimic. Its usally just a lower concentration of chorline. Since He washers use significtly less water during any section of the cycle Ie between 4-8 gallons some people can over concentrate bleach into water. As long as use follow the directions on your user manual for bleach and common residential kind is fine. I don't really recommend bleach tbh. Its corrsosive and and concentraion produces fumes which oxidize washers.
