I want to replace a current dual outlet with a combo switch outlet where the switch controls the outlet.

Based on what you said, your hot wire feeds the top left and the neutral connects to the bottom left. The two brass on the right should be connected to each other with a brass tab. If you look at it, you should be able to see it.

This is the way it works: hot feeds top left, when switch is turned on, hot goes through to the top right which also feeds bottom right. Now the outlet is powered.

If you are not sure, use a multi meter set on continuity and check from the top left to the bottom left while turning on the switch. Good luck!

I have a Skacklock Double Oven, some 36years old. The upper oven temperature switch has broken, is it possible to get a replacement switch. I realise it is an old oven, but it still works well.

I have a leviton double switch that i can't get to work. I have 3 white and 3 black in the box

Try the link below for a diagram.
I would think that you have one black feed and two black legs going out, and three common wires that should be wired together with a wire nut. Is this for a ceiling fan with a light? or ?

Light switch wiring

Yes.
The code is maximum 12 boxes per circuit breaker.
You can connect a 12-2 NM W/G cable to one of the outlets. Black-to-black and white-to-white and ground-to-ground. Black is hot, white is neutral, and ground is ground. And bring that cable into a hollow-wall box you install 50" high on the wall. Then run the 12-2 cable up to your light fixture.

You can also replace one of the outlets with a combo switch-outlet. The run singe 12-2 cable up to light.
This wiring diagram shows half way down how-to-wire-switches page.
Outlets have wide blade on neutral side, and narrow blade on hot side.
The black hot wires from old outlet connect to side of combo device with narrow blade.
The white neutrals from old outlet, and new wire going to switch, all connect to silver screw on wide-blade side of new combo device.
The black wire going to new light connects to screw next to switch located on wide-blade side of device.

Replacing a switch outlet combination with a switch GFCI outlet combination and there is only one cable in the box (14/3)

If it worked before, it should be a wire to wire replacement. You are replacing a regular switch/outlet with another switch/outlet which just happens to be a GFI outlet.
Wire the old switch wires to the new switch and the old outlet wires to the new outlet.
Cut the breaker/s off first !!

I live in an old house and im changing a single switch to a switch and receptacle combo and i have wired it every way to sunday the light works but the receptacle either does not or it also turns on light ...

Open following link for specific wiring illustration and tips.

Single pole switch has 2 wires: These wires are Hot wire from breaker, and wire going to Load (light).

Combo device needs additional neutral wire.
Without a neutral wire, the combo outlet will not work.
Neutral wire connects to silver-colored screw. Neutral wires are the white wires that are twisted together and covered with wire nut and pushed to back of electric box.

My numark cdmix2 doors dont open

Both doors? When you press switch (eject) does display change? I doubt you have 2 defective eject switches. Its more likely you need to replace both CD drives, this is quite common.
