SOURCE: ge spectra gas stove top not lighting

no gas flow sounds like a bad gas regulato on the stove. as for the 5 year old ge profile with ignitors not working, you need a part called a spark modual

SOURCE: Maytag MGR6775 Gas stove. One igniter not working.

Clean the burner with a wire brush around where the ignitor is. it needs a proper ground to ignite. When you turn the burner on do you hear a click click click? If so this should solve the problem.

You have a bad regulator, it is not opening to let gas flow. Call weber they should replace this for free.

SOURCE: Center burner doesn't ignite all the way around

I had this same problem. You will need to lift off the burner and remove the two 9/32" nuts and lock washers from the bottom of the center burner. Then separate the top section from the bottom. You will need to clean the inside of both sections down using a green scotchbrite pad removing and debris or small surface film the may have built up. Then rinse with warm water and dry them well. Reassemble it and your burner should work as good as new. Remember even just a small grease film on the burner holes will create this issue.

When lighting the oven the gas comes out and it will light but when releasing the button it won't stay alight

What make and model? I simply need more information.
Pilot lights have a constant flow of small amount of gas. the ones that stay lit that is, and the ones that don't stay lit release gas as they ignite, I can thin k of a reason you would get partial gas to ignite and then it stops unless the gas for the oven is very low or off. You could also have a gas leak. Good luck

My Electrolux Eog6330xn oven cuts out after about an hour and the ignighter then constantly sparks. the oven then has to be turned off to cool down before it will relight. Any advice.

Hello there Gary and welcome to FIXYA

Usually when an oven won't bake properly or stops baking , it's because the bake igniter is weak or burned out. The igniter is a small, round or rectangular device, that's about 1 inch by 4 to 8 inches. It's near the burner itself. The burner is the tube-type device the gas flows through before it's ignited. It has many small holes on the sides to let the gas, when ignited, form a long, low flame. If the igniter is weak, if it glows red but doesn't get hot enough, or if it's burned out, the gas doesn't flow to the burner and the burner won't ignite. If this is the problem, you may need to replace either the igniter or the gas safety valve. Usually the igniter is to blame. I would disconnect the power to the oven then unplug the wiring assy and remove the part then clean all of the terminals really good then reassemble it then try the oven again if it still does not work properly i would go ahead and replace that part ok
Please keep me posted on how this is going i can give you more help but this is the most common problem ok?
Best regards Mike

Quattro Plus heater will not stay alight

Does this unit have a thermocoupling?

If so replace it. (6 bucks)
It is the units flame sensor and they routinely go bad.
When they no longer sense flame the unit will shut off gas to the ignitor/burner.
It will only stay lit when you are manualy holding the button.

DOMETIC RM 7651l HAVE POWER AND GAS TO THE FRIDGE BUT WONT START (TWO MONTHS OLD)

Igniting a Dometic gas fridge
    Electronic Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn on Electronic ignitor switch
    3. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing. The neon light will stop flashing
    Piezo Ignition
    1. Open gas cylinder or pressure regulating valve
    2. Turn gas control knob to the MAX position, press and hold down
    3. After approximately 10-15 seconds
press Piezo knob several times until pilot light a lit
    4. After ignition, hold down knob for a further 15 seconds before releasing
  1. Check the Pilot light is alight
  2. The flame can be controlled by aperture ©
Should no ignition occur, repeat the ignition process after 1 minute
(This could take longer than 10 seconds if the unit has been out of operation for a prolonged period or after replacing the gas cylinder. (Cause: air in the lines)
  3. Once sufficient refrigeration has been obtained in the cooling tank at the MAX position, the control knob should be turned to the MIN position by low outside temperatures or when the refrigerator is only lightly loaded respectively the ambient temperature is below +18c in order to avoid over freezing the contents.
I hope this helps you...
