YES. The thermal fuse is a metal fuse that is located inside of a clear plastic tube on the left side of the inside of the control panel.

Kenmore Elite dual fuel oven won't exit cleaning mode

In some Kenmore ranges, they wired a thermal fuse in series with the temperature sensor. And sometimes during a self-clean cycle, the fuse will open up. And this makes the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) think that the oven is extremely hot, so it locks the door and turns on the cooling fan. To fix the problem, you have to locate and replace the thermal fuse.
Note: In some other ranges, if the temperature sensor goes bad (opens up), you will get the same result. You can test the temp sensor with an ohmmeter. At room temperature, the resistance should be around 1100 ohms. If it's FAR from that, then you have a bad temp sensor.

My Kenmore model 950 range will not broil or bake. The control board seems to work and allows me to set the temp, etc., the clock works, the control board makes noise which sounds like it always did

Most of the time, when BOTH the oven bake and broil elements don't work, it is usually caused by an open thermal circuit breaker or fuse. When did your oven stop working? After a self-clean? This is the most common cause of one of these thermal fuses opening. Usually this device is located on the back of the oven. A few of them are manually-resettable; but most of them are one-shot thermal cut-out devices (thermal fuses) which have to be replaced once they have been triggered.

Kenmore electric range model 790 oven stopped functioning, both broiler and bake. however, oven light still comes on.

I believe there is a thermal fuse (also called a TCO or Thermal Cut-Out) located either on the back of the oven, or between the top of the oven and the cooktop that has opened up. Did this happen after running a self-clean cycle?

Oven stopped working

More that likely it is in the control board. There is a possibility that there is a thermal fuse on the back of the oven that has gone out. Some Kenmore ovens were made by Whirlpool and Whirlpool put a non resetable thermal fuse in the common line to the elements. You will have to pull it out far enough to remove the back panel and find the fuse. Make sure the power is off when doing this. I hope this helps.

Kenmore oven 9114288816

The "F3" fault indicates an open oven sensor probe or an open sensor circuit. The oven temperature sensor is no longer available. The oven temperature sensor circuit also has thermal fuse connected in a series circuit in one of the two wires in the sensor circuit. Based on the fault code, the sensor is faulty or the thermal fuse. The thermal fuse comes with the oven temperature sensor. Here is the part to order.

Kenmore electric range model 790.9232 oven does not work

If your Kenmore electric range model 790.9232 oven is not working and the control panel is blank, there are a few potential causes for this issue:
  1. Faulty control board: The control board manages the oven's functions and if it is faulty, the oven may not work and the control panel may be blank.
  2. Power supply issue: There may be a problem with the power supply to the oven such as a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.
  3. Wiring issue: A wiring problem such as a broken wire or loose connection may be preventing power from reaching the oven.
  4. Thermal fuse: The thermal fuse is a safety device that cuts off power to the oven if it overheats. If the thermal fuse has tripped, the oven will not work and the control panel will be blank.
It's best to have a professional technician diagnose the issue. They will be able to identify the specific cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs. It's also important to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting options or error codes that might be displayed on the control panel.
It is also important to check if the range is properly plugged in, or if the outlet is working properly.
