"This generator was built in china, but Honda sued them and is no longer in buissness.
"This is by far the worst generator I have ever seen in my life. The company must not even exist anymore because I cannot seem to get the generator to stay cranked for more than a couple of seconds. I have rebuilt the carb and flushed the gas tank and changed spark plug and just checked over everything, and still does the same thing. I was hoping to get in touch with the company that makes it and I cannot find anything on them or their products. Its like they never existed. first check n c do u have any fire at d plug then if so check carb maybe its clog need to be torn down

1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301).
   

1. Disconnect electrical connectors from generator (GEN) (10346).
   

1. Remove drive belt (8620).
   

1. Remove generator retaining bolts (3).

Installation

1. Install generator.
   

1. Install generator retaining bolts (3). Tighten bolts to 21-29 Nm (16-21 lb-ft).
   

1. Install drive belt.
   

1. Connect electrical connectors to generator.
   

1. NOTE: When the battery (10655) has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
   
   Connect battery ground cable.
   

First of all, these codes are what are called "Powertrain Trouble Codes' (that's what the "P" means P=Powertrain). TCM Request (Transmission Control Module = TCM). The request was to turn on the 'Check Engine" light.
P0720 - output speed sensor circuit malfunction
P0715 - Input speed sensor (turbin speed) circuit malfunction
P0442 - Evaporative Emission System Leak (Small Leak)
P0455 - Evaporative Emission System Leak (Large Leak)
Check fuel filler cap problems - for Evap Emiss leaks
Replace the pulse generators & have the trans fluid replaced/flushed.
The Main Catalyst System Efficiency Bank 1 Is P0420, not P0442
If you had P0420 code, the catalytic converter is shot... and that's an expensive component.

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301) .

1. Remove snow/ice shield.

1. Remove engine air cleaner intake tube (9A624) .

1. Disconnect the generator voltage regulator wiring (14305) to the voltage regulator.

1. Remove wiring connector bracket.

1. Loosen the drive belt tensioner (6B209) and remove the drive belt .

1. Remove the bolts holding the voltage regulator to the generator bracket (10A313) .

1. Remove the voltage regulator from the generator bracket .

Installation

1. Position the voltage regulator on the generator bracket .

1. Install the bolts and tighten to 40-55 Nm (30-40 ft-lb).

1. Install the drive belt over the generator pulley .

1. Adjust the drive belt tensioner as outlined in Section 03-05 .

1. Connect generator voltage regulator wiring to the voltage regulator. Tighten generator Battery Positive Voltage (B+) wire attaching nut to 9-12 Nm (6.5-9 ft-lb).

1. Install wiring connector bracket.

1. Install engine air cleaner intake tube .

1. Install snow/ice shield. NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the powertrain control module (PCM) (12A650) relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more for powertrain control module to relearn the strategy.
   

1. Connect battery ground cable .
