Our schiller AT-102 Plus does not show trace on the screen as it does normally after the leads are connected. what could be the trouble?

When you first turn on the machine, hit the up or down arrows to adjust the brightness of the LCD screen.

Schiller at-1 says lead off
Check the leads. If any of the Leads is open the this problem can occur. You have to check the continuity of each cable for the lead end to socket. All leads should show a resistance of 10KOhm

You have to check the patient cable of you machine first. you have to check the LF (left foot ) lead of the cable. if there is any other cable you can try it with that. if there is any other ecg machine you have which has the same connector. then try with that also. if the cable found faulty then replace it. Is there is any trace ( line trace ) in the paper for lead 1 to v 6 if not , the problem is with thermal printer of you machine. if so you have to contact the nearest schiller authorized service center. Because the thermal printer head is not available in the open market.

High, I have a Schiller AT-2 light that is printing too lightly suddenly. Hard to read the lower page tracing in particular. Had it 5 years, doing well. Anything to adjust that?

Your machines thermal printing head have some problem. Thats why it give printouts very light. Not possible to repair thermal head. You have to replace it.

Welsh allen at-2 lead light is on however ekg machine will not give tracing

There is some problem with the patient cable. Any one of the lead is broken inside. AT2 senses the presence of all the lead first and then only it will acquire the ECG and store it in its memory,after that it will print the ECG.
If any one of the lead have some problem. it will not go to the next procedure. and will indicate the lead off light.

1. check are you connected the lead correctly.
2. clean the electrode properly.
then try one more time. if problem remains. you have to replace the patient cable.

My schiller at 102 is not charging and shuts off every time i attempt to print. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

One of the cause for this problem is the faulty backup battery. normally ecg machines runs on battery even if the power is connected. The power supply of ecg machines is meant for charging purpose only and doesn't have that much power to run the machine. also the companies will not recommend to take ecg at mines on condition.
First of all check the charging voltage is there or not. The battery charging voltage is 13.8v . check is the voltage is there at the pins of battery ,in mains on condition. If its ok the the battery have to be replaced. Normally the battery will be faulty.

I have the same model (Schiller AT-102) and unfortunately the same problem. I've tried almost everything with the hope of solving the problem: I changed the tightening springs which push the printer thermomatrix to the roller. Also replaced the optosensor. And so on... But nothing changed the situation. I would ask you to tell if you already have found the cause and the cure. Thank you in advance!

u can make it single channel one by changing its setup. it will print single trace in the same paper. when u select this option it use more paper than the three trace.

There is a process for cleaning the print head. Try that first. I did a quick read of the manual, and it appears filters CAN be adjusted, but I would regard that as a last resort solution.

Also, adjust trace height (mm/mV) and paper speed to spread out the trace.
