My phone won't call out - I can send text messages but the call button will not send a call out. I can answer calls if someone calls me. I know the button itself works because I can use it to pull up recent calls, and it makes the beep sound when I press it, but then it will not do anything else.

The iPhone doesn't support MMS messaging which includes videos, pictures and sound, it only supports text messages. You can email the photos to someone or yourself to get the pictures off your phone on the go.
sir is it blinks with white screen only or blinks with white screen then shut down? -if the phone can receive/send text and mms messages while the incoming and outgoing calls become shut down,i think you need to replace the battery because it is weak.use only original battery. -and if it is blink with white screen only try to reset all settings or reformat your phone,if not work hardware problem go to repair shop.
I just looked at one and surprisingly no, there is no option to automatically display text messages. If you Go to your text messaging screen and hit the menu button you can go through all your options and see.
I did more searching and found the answer! Clean out your inbox and outbox, and your phone should go back to sending normal messages. You might need to restart it afterward.
You can`t send messages because your message center code is not set. Get someone who uses the same network as you and can send messages, get the code and set yours. Or call the customer care of your network and get the code
