I bought a brand new kenmore he top load washing machine with the center adjatator in the middle....I am on 3rd time washinge the same load of my husbands work clothes and they are still not clean...

I bought mine brand new December 2005. Kenmore washer.

'f its a top load put something down in lid switch hole.....Start wash cycle let unit go through cycle by itself Don;t touch timer unit should fill then adjatate then drain then you will here a clunk and unit will spin thats the wash////then unit will fill then adjatate then unit will drain(this is the inportant part ) unit should drain completely before it spins if it is spinning with the water in it your gearcase is getting bad//This condition also put stress on the clutch//if unit is not draining and spinning at the same time but just spinning slowly then you will need a clutch.....Hope this helps if i did help you please vote need more help please ask..........

Contact the place you bought it. Dont even try to guess a new unit should work without question. There is a year warrenty. Just return it.

Pressure Switch failure - remove the hose at the top of the machine, and blow in it to clear moisture/buildup.
If not - replace the Pressure switch.

THAT'S NOT THE WASHER'S FAULT. MAYBE TRY TO WASH ON DELICATE CYCLE

There is a drive block under your adjator. You must pull the adjator off. Get your fingers ( Man Friend LOL ) under edge of adjator & pull. You will see a plastic pat with screw in it . if you can spin with hand , replace it .

Does it spin? Or just an agitation issue. Sounds to me like you need a new clutch. The clutch is #5 and costs about 40.00.

This is a know issue with this machine. There is a a new impeller (the round plate in the middle) available that will resolve this issue. You should contact Sears and tell them you want the new impeller installed.

Sounds like the transmission is gone the thing you call the spinning mechanism is call the adjatator it should move left to right I can tell you right now to replace the dog ears if it is a kenmore washer they go bad all the time they cost about 5 dollars they are under the cap on top of the adjatator you will need to pull it off to do the job good luck Ron
