• Possible solenoid fill valve failure
• Possible failure of the mold heater, not allowing the ice to be removed from the mold.
• Possible failure of the mold heater thermostat

This is a very common problem that comes with your model refrigerator. I need you to pull the refrigerator away from the wall, unplug power, remove the panel covering the compressor and feel the top of the compressor. Is the compressor too hot to keep your hand on the top? What I believe is happening is the control board or the start components are defective causing the refrigerator to cool off and on or periodically as you said. The solution may require a new control board=> WR55X10942 Main Control Board

With the doors fully opened, lift up the base grill. Tilt the top of the base grill away from the refrigerator. Set the base grill aside. Attach the 1/2-inch socket to the ratchet. Inspect the arrangement of the bolts located in the area where you removed the base grill. The bolts located to the inside of the door hinges are the leveling bolts. The top bolts adjust the back of the refrigerator, and the bottom bolts adjust the refrigerator's front edge. Adjust the leveling bolts as necessary with the 1/2-inch socket attached to the ratchet. Turn the bolts clockwise to raise the corner or counter-clockwise to lower the corner. If you notice the head of the leveling bolt pushing away from the face of the refrigerator as you loosen the bolt, re-tighten the bolt until the head pulls back flush. Switch to the other corresponding bolt to adjust the level of that side of the refrigerator.

Where are you getting frost at? Is it on the back wall in the freezer? if so - your problem may be a defrost issue and in that case you would need to hire a professional appliance repair technician to service your refrigerator.

Check fill tube that puts water into ice maker. You may need to use hair dryer to thaw out. Look for a tube that comes out of back wall of freezer behind ice maker section. Make sure its there and pushed all the way in .This is a bad GE design. (could have fallen out)

THERE IS A COOLING FAN ON THE BACK BOTTOM OF THE UNIT THERE MIGHT BE SOMETHING HITING THE FAN BLADE.IVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM JUST SLIDE IT AWAY FROM THE WALL AND REMOVE THE CARDBOARD COVER AND CLEAN OUT ALL DUST WITH A VACUME ....{.NOTE UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST.}

Call the service company back and make them fix the problem, period. If they said that would fix it then they just bought the repair no matter how much it costs.

You may ahve a problem with your freezer temp. Check your setting. Turn down a few notches to see if problem goes away. Also Pull out your fridge and vacuum out your coils underneath unit. Plug coil causes freezer temp to rise. Rus

The model number you post appears to be incorrect.
The buzzing was from the evaporator fan blade hitting on some ice build up. Getting to it on a bottom freezer refrig is a bit of a pain in the back side. If your model has a pull out freezer drawer, that has to be removed, the icemaker removed, one side of the drawer supports from the freezer wall, all to allow you to remove the back wall of the freezer to get to the fan. You may be able to just thaw out the fan and surrounding area then which will get your refrig cooling again, if the ice was just around the fan area. On the pain in the but repair scale of 1 - 10, this one rates at least a 7.
