Hopefully I can help with your issue as it seems your getting some answers that don't make much sense...this sounds like a PMW issue, this stands for pulse width modulation and its what controls the brightness on the screen...find that pin on the main board and measure it, you should see somewhere between 3.5 and 4.5 volts there, also it should increase and decrease when the backlight setting is increased. Its actually a signal that comes from the main board and is used to adjust the voltage of the backlights..if you find a low voltage here after the set has been on and the picture dims its a bad main board, there is a slim chance its in the power supply but I'd say its 10 to 1 being the main...Good luck, if you need more assistance please ask.
The back light is the problem if one goes off the rest will not work unless you replace it you need expect to do it
Thanks for your response. But I already checked that. I still have back lights. It just goes very very dim. Can still see a picture but it's like I have the brightness all the way turned down.
By the way, I've done all of the troubleshooting possible. Eco sensor is off. Have done soft and hard factory resets. Checked the boards inside the TV cannot see anything wrong with any of them with the ***** eye. Can you maybe tell me which one of those boards would have something to do with the picture dimming? Or maybe somewhere that I can buy all three of the boards that are in that TV and replace them myself. I am able to do that in the way of replacement.
you can change only the picture board that's all
Can you tell me which one the picture board would be? Is it also called the t-con board? I do know of course one of the three is the power source board that's easy to tell obviously.
exactly one with the source
Never heard of a "picture board" more like there isn't one...

I would try adjusting the screen control on the flyback. The flyback can be easly located, find the red wire attached to the top of the picture tube & follow it down to the flyback. on the flyback you should find two controls, one screen & one focus. you sould be able to read the words above each control, only adjust the screen one. slightly increase the control till the picture stays on, if you turn it too much you will get small white lines going across the screen. Now if what i have told you fixes the set, then it is only a tempoary repair. could last days or mothes, maybe years. if it starts to happen again later the set will have to be replaced. this is a sign of the picture tube starting to get a weak. ALSO DO NOT PLAY WITH THE RED WIRE IT CARRES VERY HIGH VOLTAGES EVEN WHAN UNPLUGGED FOR DAYS.
