I accidentally hit the "channel up" button on the tv remote, and I lost the picture and sound to the tv. I always use the remote for my pvr box to change channels. The screen says "tv no signal"

usally when this occurs your looking at high voltage problem. flyback, horizontal, crt issues, do you hear any high voltage static or cracling when you turn it on or off

you may need to reprogram your remote, or, if you have your profile setup on the harmony website, reload from there

Press " i " (info) button on Sony TV Remote so on-screen display will disappear.

go into the menu and look at the closed caption option----if TEXT is highlighted--this is your problem---select CC! or if it has it OFF.The TEXT will only appear on certain channels and it most likely was activated by someone changing the closed caption options.
