Picture messaging I have a Sony Ericsson K550i and I have not been able to send or recieve picture messages I have been into The sony Ericsson web site to recieve the settings and my phone recieved them successfully , but still will not let me send or recieve I just get the envelope symbol and the globe flashing at the top of the screen for ages and t never gets sent. Please can you offer any suggestions ?

Call your provider and ask them if you can get multimedia messeges on the pay as you go plan. But BEWARE, transferring large files such as picture will burn up your minutes on alot of plans. if it is a Boost phone you may want to get the $50 plan you get unlimited everything.
This is a lovely phone, however NO you won't be able to use it as webcam. If you can take video, but it doesn't support streaming video. (ex. You Tube) Make sure with your carrier, you have the correct package on your plan to be able to send and recieve multi-media messages (picture,video, sound)
Hello helen1680 , have you tried sony ericcson's website, you will have to sign up for a free account , but then you can use there free configuration tool to set up your mobile for recieving picture messages, accessing the internet and recieving video's..hope this helps !
