The cost of the control panel will depend on the model. Usually these cost $200-300.
However, the LOC often indicates a control panel lock is enabled. Try looking at the control panel for a button with a padlock symbol in a small font on or below the button or a pair of buttons connected by a line below the buttons with the padlock symbol in the line. Press and hold the button or pair of buttons for 10 seconds. On the Frigidaire FFQE5000QW, the buttons to press are Options and Select.

hold down "OPTION and "SELECT" button at simaltaniously until screen resets. This should work for you.

Just had same problem. After removing boot/rubber gasket around opening, and replacing door lock assembly it still would not work giving the same ERR LOC message! Another site directed me to press the "Options" and "Select" buttons at the same time. BINGO! My husband was quite proud of me!

There should be screws on the back side of the top panel that come out. Then the panel will slide out so that you can access the front controls.

LOC error code is displayed when the control panel
is locked, to unlock it press the OPTION & SELECT button and hold them for
20 seconds. This should reset the control, if it does not then replacing the
control is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other
