It could be a unevenly worn tire or a bad wheel bearing.

For the first problem, if you can get me the codes I may be able to help you figure out the problem with the gas smell. The fuel gauge problem could be the gauge on the dash or the sending unit in the tank.
You should have the body computer scanned for trouble codes to find out whats going on with the ABS and traction control.
I have no clue on the humming noise.

High rpms in park, too low in drive

sounds like ecm sensor problems.does check engine light come on at all?you may be able to get a code reader at autozone to retrieve computer stored codes, this would more than likely lead you in the right direction.some shops will do a computer check cheap if you are unable to perform this task.however the code readers come with instructions and are user friendly;-)

Around 1500 rpms or 55 mph engine seems to bog down

It sounds like your low on fluid, or your transmission filter is dirty and the front pump is not getting enough oil supply. Worst is your front pump is going bad.
Check the fluid level and see if it's burnt. Good luck
