Just bought 2nd hand, no history. transported upright and left 24 hours.
Call atechnician to check the start/run capacitor for the compressor for the hum
but what you describe is normal
it takes heat in the cabinet tp evaporate the liguid gas which the compressor then converts back to liquid
in that process the back fins get hot or the back of the fridge gets hot
and that will remain hot until the thermostat switches off the compressor in which case the fins will get cold
SOURCE: Freezer quit working
I suspect when you lifted or moved the freezer, you tilted the compressor such that the oil washed out into the refrigeration lines. Common when people tilt refrigeration equipment the wrong way.
SOURCE: radiator cool, engine temp = 140
sounds like your radiator is clogged, it will bring problems to you soon, you need to flush it really good, i dont think you need to replace it but it sounds like a typical clogged radiator, have it flushed, it you cant ur gonna need to replace it soon, if you keep running that car it might lead you to a temp problem while runing and u might end up hurting your engine...
u also need to check if your thermostat is working properly. go on google and look for the procedure, ur gonna have to take it off and do a test with hot water and a thermometer and see if its working properly.
hope this helps.
have fun!
SOURCE: Moved fridge...runs but now does not cool
Just unplug and let the compressor oil that flowed into the freezer evaporator to flow back to compressor. Unplug and wait 24 hours until trying to restart. Ifyou can not feel or insure compressor is running wait longer. The oil is thick and in liquid state it must seep through a hole about 10 feet and the opening can be as small as a sewing neddle. Let me know if this has been helpful, Thank You Sea Breeze
Testimonial: "we need to try both of these solutions and then get back to you. Seems reasonable."

Check to see if the fan near the compressor is running. It should run when the compressor runs. Spin it and it may start.
