Mitsubishi Mini Split sytems fails to operature

I installed a Misubishi Dual Zone Mini Split System within my home by myself, last October. The system consists of: Outdoor Condensing Unit: MXZ30TN2 Indoor Unit 1: MSH17TN Indoor Unit 2: MSH09TW Because of my lengthy "to do" list and the cool summer here, there was no hurry to get this system into operation until just recently. Approximately 1 month ago I hired a Heating and AC specialist, he vaccuum tested the lines and opened the valves on the condensor unit to flood the lines with refridgerant... Upon testing, the unit worked great. I was very happy with it's performance.... Up until yesterday...... Upon arriving home from work, I noticed that it was warm in the house. Looked up at Indoor unit 1 and noted that it was flashing a diagnostic code - 6 consecutive flashes. Unfortunately, my documentation that I have does not contain a trouble shooting tree and no where could I find what the flash code represented.. So, went outside to the Condensing unit, I knew that it had a 2 digit display on it's controller PCB.... It read "5F", which stated that my Indoor unit 1 had either an open or shorted temp sensor... I have a very good understanding of thermisters and their operation. It is hard to imagine that this item would fail in such a short period of time.. Assured all power was off to the condensor unit as well as the indoor units. Got my multimeter out, placed it on "ohms" and measured both of the incoming sense lines that came into the Condensor unit. Both were open.. Was very suspicious of this result, so I went inside and measured both indoor units at the sense nodes. Again, measured open.. So was lead to believe that an amplified signal of some sort must be supplied to the outdoor condensing unit... I also noticed that there is J-tag header on the condensor units controller PCB, so I am assuming that there is a tool (data link adaptor) that can be used to interface with the processor and read fault history and or diagnostics..... Does this DLA and software exist for DIYers like myself? But, anyway here is my dilema - this system is out of warranty, cuz I bought it a few years ago, installed it last October and yet did not fire it up till just recently.. I am hoping that you may have a suggestion for me to try before I have to spend big dollars to have it serviced. Right now, none to happy. Spent several thousand dollars on this system, worked for 3 weeks than failed? Not good..

Why does mitsubishi split system heats room 5 degrees hotter than setpoint on remote

It could be something as simple as 'solar gain' adding heat through glass facing the afternoon sun....or maybe the remote is not in a location that senses the average temperture within the room. Maybe the remote is located in a slight draft entering the room.

If the remote was kept above a computer tower, the opposite would be the case.... the heat from the tower would keep the control thinking its warmer in the room than it is. The result would be a much colder room.

Squealing sound from our mini-split!

If it were a car I'd say something to do with the belt. Maybe check that out.

My new LG mini split 24,000 BTU unit is Freezing up on the small tube side. Not cooling properly. I thought freezing up (low on freon) but wouldnt it be on the larger tube. Is it running the fluid...

The larger tube is the return tube for the hot freon gas from the evaporator. The small tube is the cold freon after is has gone through the condenser where gas is condensed to a liquid when the heat is removed. So I would say your system is low on freon.

Mitsubishi Mr Slim mini split outdoor unit fan.

Check the capacitor. Rating must be within 90% of rated microfarads. If it is a dual capacitor test between C and FAN. Set your meter to read microfarads (uF).
