SOURCE: No display .. getting three short beeps, pause,

It's the sound produced by motherboard stating that motherboard is not able to detect the RAM,open the laptop and remove the RAM and clean with a white paper slowly and insert it properly.check it solve your problem otherwise if you have another RAM slot available then try that too. if none work replace with a NEW RAM this will solve your problem

let me know if it's helpful to you

Hi, what you have not tested for isolation is your power supply, re-seating of processor for 20 minutes, cmos clearing or battery removal and mother board swapping. If all your isolation seems futile the worst is the mother board.

How can i fix my IBM ThinkPad T22 2647. it produce 3 simultaniuos beep sounds lcd is black out.

This is a list of ThinkPad Beep codes.
It appears you have a memory or motherboard problem, most likely a RAM problem. Try reseating the RAM modules, if this doesn't work, then remove the RAM and take them to your friendly computer repair shop to get them to test the RAM modules for you. If the RAM is faulty them replace.

Hi:
Check and see if somehow your video card came unseated from the motherboard. sometimes just moving a tower around can pop them loose.

Two beeps

1) You need to change your memory, the may be bad, and it will not display anything on your screen.
2) Make sure that your processor fan is well connected

Having problems trying to get a Tyan i5000xt MB to allow the vid card to come up with a display

  1. If the MB has jumpers, you must make sure they match you CPU.
  2. Make sure you have the right memory modules and that they are installed correctly.
  3. Unplug all drive cables from the mother board (HD, CD, DVD, Etc) and then try to boot. If you see video, plug them back in one at a time.
Hope that helps...
