Going to buy a new touchless kitchen faucet for your home but don't know how to choose a touchless faucet? Here are few points that you should know at the time of buying a touchless faucet.
1. Compatibility with sink
There are many types of sinks are available in the market. When choosing a touchless faucet you should take care that the sink and faucet are compatible with each other. If the sink size is small then a big-size faucet is not the right choice.
2. Numer of sensor
Touchless kitchen faucet works on sensors so they are often called motion sensor kitchen faucet. Mostly touchless faucets have a single sensor but some faucets have dual sensors.
Nowadays faucet can be controlled by the voice. The voice-controlled faucet is easy to use. They don't require any type of physical touch to turn it on or off it.
3. Water pressure
Water pressure should be checked of any faucet before buying it. The water pressure of any faucet is measured in the GPM. 1.8 GPM is good water pressure. Some touchless faucets have 1.5 GPM water pressure but this water pressure is not enough. In 1.5 GPM you need to do more work to wash dishes. So choose only that faucet that has 1.8 GPM or higher water pressure.
4. Type of faucet
There are two types of faucets available in the market Pull-down and fixed faucet. The Pull-down faucet is easy to use. Pull-down faucet reaches to every corner of the sink. For small size sink, a fixed faucet is a better choice.

How do I choose my kitchen faucet?

Whether you are remodeling, have an old leaky faucet, or are simply looking for an easy way to update your kitchen, choosing a kitchen faucet can be a lot to take on. From choosing the finish, number of handles, or thinking about pulling the faucet out or down, it's not just A or B anymore and that can be overwhelming!
Here is a quick list of 5 questions to consider before buying a new kitchen faucet that might help you modify your options before even leaving your house!
1. How many holes are in my existing sink?
Unless you are starting from scratch, keep in mind what is already in your kitchen. By knowing how many holes your previous faucet had, it is easier to tailor your search because this criterion needs to be met. One detail to keep in mind is that a lot of faucet manufacturers offer optional deck plates so if you currently have 3 holes, and want a single hole faucet, it is easy to cover up!
2. How many handles?
Two handles allow you to mix the hot and cold water, while one handle allows you to adjust the water temperature with a single motion.
3. Is a sprayer a necessity?
This question deals with a big part of the functionality of the faucet. Keeping in mind how you are using the faucet will help you to decide if a multi-function spray faucet would be ideal, aside spray, or no sprayer at all.
4. What are you using it for?
This is a big question! Do you do most of your dishes with your faucet, or do you mainly use it for rinsing? If large pots and pans are constantly filling up the sink, a sink with an arched neck might help with the functionality. On the contrary, if a lower sink works for you, or you have a smaller kitchen, something that goes straight out might go well with your kitchen.
5. What's your style?
The last tip to think about before shopping around is to know your style and your style in your kitchen. If you are a traditional person, look for a faucet to reflect that! If your kitchen is contemporary find a faucet that is chrome and adds that bit of modern edge.
After you have done your homework and are prepared, go to a showroom or a place where you can touch the product, this will give you that last bit of confidence before choosing your perfect faucet!
