How do I unset a program reminder with a Technika tv? I have reminders I no longer want but can't see how to cancel them permanently.

I would say I would suggest going in performing a hard reset and resetting the unit that should erase all of the programming codes

Hello, I just tried this out and it works for sure (November 2, 2006), it took me two tries so be patient. I have a 2000 SLK 230 so this should work for most model years. There are two nobs on the instrument panel. The nob on the left resets your odometer, this is the nob we are going to use, lets call it button 1. In addition, there are two positions when you insert the key nto the ignition. The second position lights up all of the instrument lights before turning on the car, this is the position we are going to use, lets call it position 2. 1. Turn key in steering lock to position (2) 2. Within 4 seconds press button (1) twice 3. The present status for distance is displayed. Within 10 seconds turn key in steering lock to position 0 (starting position without taking the key out) 4. Press and hold button (1), while turning key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for distance is displayed once more. Continue to hold button (1) 5. Release button (1) when you hear a beep. You have now reset it successfully.

Press and hold code and phrase key while putting in an address 01 - 99, release keys, type text, then do code phrase again.

To play hold phrase and put in address, stored memory will play.

If you are on Windows 7, go into "regedit" and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LexmarkInkjet\IjPrtSettings\OFN1" and then delete the following two keys:

CustomerConnectInstallTime
InstallTime

You can also manually do this in Vista, just its under "HKLM\SOFTWARE\LexmarkInkjet\IjPrtSettings\OFN1".

Setting the Clock:
1. Press the SET Button 3 times until all digits for the main clock are flashing.
2. Press Skip forward and back to change the hour and Volume up and down to change the minutes.
3. Press the set button once to save.

I am repeatedly getting reminders that I no longer have any anti virus protection for the year 2012

Go to
www.avast.com
Install the home edition.
Do a boot time scan, reboot the computer and it will remove any infections you had\have.

Norton is worthless, I've been in the PC world for almost 7years and for the first year I tried to use Norton with no luck. I have since stuck with Avast and never have an issue.

Cannot cancel website "reminders from gOD" ON MY

Assuming you mean you cannot remove the "Reminders From God" gadget from your igoogle.com home page.
You can delete it by clicking on the down arrow in the top right corner of the gadget. This brings up the options, then click on "Delete this Gadget".

GE Spacesave microwave won't work. Display says REM. What does that mean?

"REM" is "reminder". That's covered in your owner's manual.

Here's a sample:

"The Reminder feature can
be used like an alarm clock
and can be used at any
time, even when the oven
is operating. The
Reminder time can be set
up to 24 hours later.
1 Press REMINDER.
2 Enter the time you want
the oven to remind you.
(Be sure the microwave
clock shows the correct
time of day.)

it off. The Reminder
time may be displayed by

How do you turn off the reminder feature? My blind, elderly neighbor set it for 1:14 am, and I don't know how to cancel it out for her.

Press Reminder/ Clear then press 0. Wait for the instructions to scroll across before you press 0.

Silence on hold reminder

This feature requires you to go into system programming to change the hold reminder time. Different Systems have different codes in programming. If you have the system programming manual specific to your system, it should be relatively easy to change that. Or, you could ask your system administrator to do it for you.

Turn off Scion tC seat belt alarm

Buzzer Reminder Cancel Mode Setting
1) Set the LCD on the combination meter to the ODO display.
2) Press and hold the TRIP meter reset knob for ten seconds or more within six seconds of turning the
ignition switch to the ON position. Fastening the drivers seat belt while holding the knob cancels the
buzzer reminder.
3) When this occurs, the LCD displays -OFF. The buzzer reminder can be switched between ON and
OFF each time the TRIP meter reset knob is pressed. The LCD displays -ON or -OFF according to the buzzer reminder ON/OFF status. The display changes to the ODO or TRIP meter if the knob
is not pressed for ten seconds.
4) Performing steps 1) and 2) again when the buzzer reminder is off exits cancel mode.
5) The cancel mode will also exit when the battery or combination meter connector is reconnected.

Canceling the alarm

Disable the alarm permanently 1. Press CANCEL button. 2. The corresponding WAKE indicator will be flashing. 3. Press WAKE 1 or WAKE 2 button within 3 seconds to deactivate the corresponding alarm function permanently.
