My Digiland DL8006 tablet was completely hung at the boot. It wouldnt continue or shut down and no key combinations would reset it. It had been sitting for a while so probably low charge. I popped the back off, unplugged the connector for the battery off the board and reinserted. Tablet went back to off. Then plugged in to charge and the charge screen appeared. Left it to fully charge. Put the back on again and booted and all was well. To open the back pry around the crack on the edge with a small screwdriver or plastic tool. There are clips all around that will pop loose. Just watch for the plastic buttons, they are connected together and fall out easily. Have a good look at the back and sides of the tablet. See if you can see a small hole. If so that could be the hard reset port. Pressing the end of a paperclip into the hole should activate a hard reset. DON'T press too hard!

1) Power off the tablet. 2) Press and hold the Volume-Down and Power button simultaneously. 3) It displayed a menu in Korean/Chinese (?). 4) Scroll down (using the Volume-Down button) to the SIXTH menu choice. 5) Press the Power button to select. This will start the factory reset process. You will then be directed through the original start-up process as if you got it out of the box for the first time. If you have a Google account and if you stored your settings to Google, your previously loaded applications and saved contacts should start downloading. This is a factory reset, so everything not saved to Google will be lost.
