From the Site:

"F2-E6 - Cancel Key Line Open - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly. All F3-E Codes - Oven Temperature Sensor (RTD) or Warming Drawer Defect - Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD)."

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: oven gives code E6 F2 on panel

The problem in our oven has cleared by itself. I did see the E6 F2 error message but for now, it's working fine. Considering the customer service was only able to help to the extent of reading the error code sheet the same as I was (the sheet is behind the touch pad) and seeing how limited the solutions were, we don't think we'll be buying another Whirlpool. I was pretty insulted when the girl a customer quality called to offer me part #8300453 at half cost of $164 providing I have a service guy look at the stove and call in the part. On top of that, the warrenty is 90 days and the part is on back order. Why would the part be on back order? A) they either did not make an ample supply for inventory, B) there are many ovens needing this part. For an oven to require parts after 2.5 yrs of service and 2 self cleanings tells me someone was sleeping with a cigar in their mouth in Quality Control. Or, learning what that meant.

Enjoy the day!
Robert

SOURCE: getting error code E6 F2 and panel goes out

HI. This will be the result of a failed touch pad assembly. Use the procedure below to isolated the issue.

1. Once you have gained access to the touch pad assembly, Inspect the keypad connector for firm a connection. The Key pad will be connected to the rear of the man control board. Check the connectors for a firm connection. Move to step two if the connection is secure.

2. Press CANCEL. If the error code returns after 60 seconds, replace your keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models may incorporate the keypad and control board as one unit. In this case, replace the entire control board (also called ERC or clock).

Testimonial: "This was the problem. Thank you! Using the self clean option can burn out the control board. "

Just got error code "fe02"

Hello,

The F2-E0 error code means that the computer thinks a button on the touchpad is stuck. Sometimes this can be resolved by making sure the touchpad connector fits tight into the control board. The F2-E0 code can be cleared by pushing CANCEL/OFF. If it returns the touchpad needs to be replaced . GENE

My KitchenAid Superba oven is not heating. Code F2- E5. thank you

Hello and sorry to hear about your problem. The code you have given, will have this problem. I suggest you contact a service person.
F2-E5 - Cancel Key Line Open - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

I have tried to help you. Please help me by Vote/Rate the response. Thanks and good luck

Kitchen aid superba f2:e1 problem, how do you fix it?

This is not exactly a solution, but it does explain what F2:E1 means. According to this page, it is a control panel malfunction. It may be caused by a shorted wire, but it may just be the control panel malfunctioning on its own.
