True bolt change 4 dig. Code on my door lock - Locks & Locksmithing

• Some of the locks have been probably changed before.



• Or you need to get original keys for truck, copies just get worn out by use.

Best thing to do is to just rest the blade teeth against a peice of scrap wood, and use the allen key/spanner to undo the bolt. As the bolt undoes in the direction of the cut, the blade teeth should dig in and stop it turning. If the blade lock isn't working anymore, it could mean that it has broken inside, so be careful, incase there is a bit of loose metal in the gearbox, it will be quite catastrophic if it gets caught in the gears.

there is usually and access cover on the bottom right behind the oil pan, the bolts are on the back of the flywheel. This is true with most automatics but if it is different I know a guy who has changed these out before that I can ask.

Do this, with the door open:
Remove cover from assembly by sliding cover up and off. You will then see the program button.
A programmed code can be from four (4) to eight (8) digits long.
Up to 2 user codes can be entered.
Excess delay in the programming steps once started will cause unit to beep twice and will require you to restart from step (a).

Programming the first User Code:
a. Press the program button on the interior unit once.
b. Enter in 4 to 8 digit code onto the keypad.
c. Press the "LOCK" button to save code.
d. Extend the bolt by pressing the "LOCK" button and re-enter the code to test. The bolt should retract to the unlocked position. If it does not unlock, repeat steps (a) through (c).

Programming the second User Code:
a. Press the program button on the interior unit twice.
b. Enter in 4 to 8 digit code onto the keypad.
c. Press the "LOCK" button to save code.
d. Extend the bolt by pressing the "LOCK" button and re-enter the code to test. The bolt should retract to the unlocked position. If it does not unlock, repeat steps (a) through (c).

After programming in just one new code, the existing old code may still work. I suggest that if this is the case, that you program in two codes to make sure that the old one is over-written. You may try programming in the same new code both times if you don't want to have two codes.

You are programming it correctly. If you are sure the battery is good I think the keypad has simply failed.

Enter correct code:
Hold down release on front & enter new 4 dig code & let go of release and new code is input.

Try pulling or pushing the door in while you lock and unlock, sounds like the bolt is binding in the door frame, comon problem with these locks in changing temperatures and humidity.

First make sure you have the door handing set properly. Retract the bolt manually if extended. Now press the lock button... If the unit extends the bolt, then you're good. If not, switch the jumper position on the control board. If it's covering pins 1&2, move it to cover 2&3 or vice versa.
To program code #1..
Push the program button on the control board once. Enter your 4-8 digit code. Push the lock button to end the entry. The unit will emit a 2-second long beep. If it doesn't beep, you were too slow. Try again.
To program code #2, press the program button on the control board TWICE. Enter your 4-8 digit code. Push the lock button to end the entry. As before, the unit will emit a 2-second long beep when a successful entry is made.
Test your codes with the door open just to be sure.

Enter this code #43574357* and device information comes up. Choose system information. Use the last 4 digits of the MDN OR MIN (they should be the same) for the lock code. When the phone is unlocked, you can change the NAM back =)

The F30 error code will flash when the dispenser motor cannot be driven to its proper position.



Door Unlock Error

A Door Unlock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked.
It will try to unlock the door 6 times before displaying the error.


Door Lock Mechanism broken.
Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects
Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure


If it is a cabrio:
dU flashes if the following conditions occur:
Excessive force on door lid is preventing lock bolt from retracting.
Wash media buildup is preventing lock bolt from retracting.
Machine/motor control cannot determine if door lid is in an unlocked state.

TEST #8 Door Lid Lock
Perform the following checks if washer fails to lock (or unlock).
1. Perform Manual: Door Switch and Manual: Door Lid Lock tests.
2. Remove the console to access the machine/ motor control assembly. See Accessing & Removing the Electronic Assemblies.
3. Visually check that the P12 connector is inserted all the way into the machine/motor control. If visual check passes, go to step 4. If visual check fails, reconnect P4 and repeat step 1.
4. Check the lid lock motor winding and switches by removing P12 from the machine/ motor control and checking the
resistance values....

If resistance values are good, go to step 5. If switch measurements do not match the values shown in the table for unlocked (or locked) conditions, a problem
exists in the door lid lock. Replace the door lid lock.
5. If the Manual: Door Switch or Manual: Door Lid Lock in step 1 failed, then the machine/motor control has failed: Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Replace machine/motor control assembly. Perform the Manual: Door Switch and Manual: Door Lid Lock in step 1 to verify repair.
