I am trying to control my blaupunkt sound bar with my sky q remote but I cannot find a code. Please help?

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right of the display window [Desktop only], or view it by "webview" at mobile; It will help you to find it easily.

try this...press TV on your sky remote now hold select and red button until it flashes tvice,now enter this code....1430...after u enter that code it should blink twice again,now press standby,if it turns your TV off,press select to save these settings, it will also control your TV volume...Let me know if this helps

OK,

This really depends on which brand/model of TV you have and which Sky remote version. The code you need is specific to the brand/model of TV.

The Sky remote version is printed on a sticker inside the battery compartment. The older Sky remotes will have "RC1600/00" on the sticker. Newer versions will also have either "Rev 4", "Rev 6", or "Rev 8" on the sticker.

If you have a new TV and an older Sky remote (i.e. before Rev 8) your remote may not work with your TV and you will need to buy a new Sky remote if you want to operate TV and Sky box with one remote.

Please post back with your Sky remote version number and your TV brand and EXACT model number. I will then be able to provide codes for your remote and programming instructions.

Code is 1293 if you're using a Rev 8 remote control. You can check this on the sticker in the battery compartment.

If you are using an older Sky remote Rev 6, Rev 4 or plain old RC1600/00 then it's unlikely to work as these remotes aren't programmed to control your TV. You are welcome to try though ;)

You have to programme the correct code for your TV into the Sky remote.

You can get these via "Sky Active" (if your box is connected to a phone line) or from the Sky website, or google search: "Sky remote codes".

However your sky remote wont necessarily control more recent televisions unless you have a REV8 remote control. You can check this by taking the battery cover off your remote and looking at the sticker inside. If it says RC1600/00 you're probably not going to be able to control your TV. REV4 and REV6 are more likely to work - but not guaranteed. If it says REV8, then you are probably not using the correct code or you're not programming the remote correctly.

If you have REV8, the correct code for your TV (according to Sky) is: 0678 or 1678 or 0254

you will have to ask for the sky operator for the code sir.

mostly there wont be any code. just ask him if you need to change some settings to make it respond.

With an up-to-date remote (rev 8 remote) the 4-digit code 1280 definately works for the LG 32LC56 model coz i have just done it.
