Cant read messages sent or receive inthe previous message area

Dear Friend , on the screen of IM , Instant Message.. where u can read your sending messege and receiving message.. if u want to see your previous chat.. so click on Archive option...

try yahoo messenger 9 or 11

reinstall ur operating system coz there is no solution for that

To send messages you just have to.

1. Click ACTIONS on the top menu bar of your yahoo messenger.
2. On the drop down menu under ACTIONS, click SEND INSTANT MESSAGE
3. there you will be asked to choose between MY CONTACTS, click my contacts if the one you'll be sending a message with is on your yahoo list otherwise click OTHER CONTACT
4. If you choose MY CONTACT, just click the contact you will be sending the message and click OK.
5. If you choose OTHER CONTACT, on the box type in the messenger ID of the person you want to send an instant message to then click OK.

In receiving messages, it will automatically pop out on your screen. If you are not logged in, you still can read messages that been sent to you via offline messages which will automatically pop out the moment you logged back in again.

Do you mean offline messages? First check if anybody accessing messenger with your log in information, Means anybody knows your ID and Password...Change the password once and try then..Remember that once you logged into messenger mode through email/messenger client any offline message you received while you were offline, considered as checked/read, so after log out those message will be removed....so again if you login you will not able to see previous offline message. thats all ...thanks for being with us...Good luck

you are using a lower version of yahoo.or maybe your friends are using a lower version. you need to uninstall your messenger.
got to control panel from the start up menu and click on it
.go to program features and click .
you can remove the messenger from there. i hope this helps

Go to add/remove programs and remove any and all versions of Yahoo Chat. Then download the latest version again and make sure you have the latest update for Java Script also

uninstall the current version n install a previous version.You can get previuos version of yahoo messenger form filehippo.com
