Danby countertop dishwasher not enough water pressure to clean the dishes; This is very recent. I've had the machine for 14 months

Model number DDW621WDB;I've run a vinegar solution through the machine as well as checks for plugs in the sprayer arm. I began using a detergent aid for hard water about 4 months ago. It has improved the appearance of my glassware and I hoped would dissolve any buildup.

SOURCE: Dishwasher Odor

I would disconnect the drain hose from the sink trap and drain the water out into a pot -- just to make sure there's nothing in the hose that can't get out. Check the sink trap too to make sure it's not holding something. Run an empty dishwasher using TANG instead of dishwasher detegerent.

SOURCE: new dishwasher leaving powder residue on dishes.

the problem is hard water and there is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. it actually filters the water going into your dishwasher and leaves your dishes spot free. after the first load i was amazed that the white film was gone and my dishes were sparkling. you can get it at www.dishwasherfilter.com.

SOURCE: GE Monogram ZBD0700K - gel pak detergent not dissolving

Low inlet water Make sure inlet water temperature is at least
120°F (49°C)
Run water at the nearest faucet prior to
starting the dishwasher to insure optimal water
temperature.
Water pressure is low Turn on a faucet. Is water coming out
more slowly than usual? If so, wait until
pressure is normal before using your
dishwasher.
Air gap is clogged • Clean air gap.
Improper rack loading Make sure large dishware does not block the
detergent dispenser or the wash arms.

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Will not clean dishes

Sometimes because of water pressure the inlet valve doesn't allow enough water into the machine to satisfy the float switch so you don't have enough water to completely clean the dishes.Manufacturers install whats called a flow washer to control the flow of water into the machine in case of too much water pressure. What you can do is remove the flow washer from the valve itself to allow enough water to enter the machine. The other problem could be that the water is not hot enough. Some water heaters are set to 120 deg. to save on utility bills. To clean effectively the dishwasher water temp needs to be at least 160 deg. which is the temp restaurants use to clean and sterilize their dishes. Check to see if your dishwasher has a water heat switch on the control panel that will increase the water temp to 160 deg. If not just turn up your water heater temp. To check water flow just open the door when it is finished with the first fill right before it starts washing and check to see if the float switch is satisfied. You can check it by just pushing down on it and listening for a click. Either one of these should solve your dirty dish problem. Good luck

Dishes very cloudy and will not come clean

The most common reason that dishes don't get clean is that a build up of gunk is covering the screen that protects the recirculation pump. This prevents the machine from having enough water pressure to clean the dishes, and leaves a soapy film on everything.

The second most common reason is that the machine isn't filling up with enough water. To test this turn the machine on for a normal load and when it begins to wash, open the door and see if there is enough water in the dishwasher.

To know how much water should be in the dishwasher you will have to consult the manual that came with it, as well as to find out how to access the recirculation pump.
