Please Dont install VISTA, it is bloated, slow and buggy.
Either stick with XP or use Windows 7, 7 is far better than Vista.

sorry to say that u cant have a activation key. But u can activate it by downloading a activation crack or patch from internet ,try for the new one its good and activatests the windows properly after that u can also update your windows from microsoft site.

Simple, most unlikely solution: Try to download patch from microsoft website and install it.

Other Solution: Go to trained professional, (geeksquad or firedog), they will install it more simply and correctly.
