First, I'm not a Pasquini tech, but I have worked on several similar brands.
* Most Semi-automatic machines will usually have the program button on the same as the stop button. Some will program all the groups at once or can be individually set up for different pours (shots)
* Holding down the program or stop button for 5-10 seconds will activate the program mode. Note that if you don't press any dosing buttons after 5-10 seconds the program mode will revert to normal mode. Some may cancel out the previous dose set up.
* Before starting, determine what you want a shot to look like. 1 oz, 1.5 oz, 2 oz., etc.
* Set up your portafilter with ground coffee. DONOT change the grind size once your satisfied with the QUALITY of pour (don't confuse this with the amount of the dose. This is handled with the programing of dose water.) Water is absorbed by the grounds depending on the grind size and some times the amount. Pods are different from loose ground coffee too.
* Load up portafilter and place measuring cup(s) under spout(s).
* Press program button and hold for 5-10 seconds. The button will light and stay on (some blink).
* Press the dose button for the appropriate portafilter you have mounted. The pasquini requires you to press the stop/program button once you have achived the desired dose. Other brands require the dose button to be press and held down until the amount of dose water is reached. Letting go button logs the amount in but only after pressing the stop button does it set.
* For other brands, you may need to set up all buttons prior to pressing the program/stop button to confirm dosing of all buttons.
* Remember to keep reloading fresh coffee grounds in the portafilter for each adjustment. Used (wet) coffee will throw out the water dose calibration.

SOURCE: Not Brewing

We have had this problem intermittently but we had a bigger problem that I solved yesterday. Our LCD display was not displaying properly - words were missing so we just had to guess when it was ready to brew. I called Keurig and they offered a new one for $100 since it was out of warranty. They did ask me if I had descaled the machine and, I'm embarassed to say, I had never done that. Well I descaled the machine and viola! - my LCD display completely came back just like new! Here's hoping the intermittent brewing problem is resolved as well! If you haven't descaled the machine recently, I would strongly suggest giving that a try for any problems you might be having. Of course, to descale, the machine has to at least be able to brew in order to get the vinegar through the machine...

SOURCE: My machine only brews 1/2 cup of coffee. I have

I had some coffee grounds stuck up in the cone shaped hole that the water comes from at the top. I had to use a very long toothpick but it broke up some of the grounds that happened to get caught up inside. Before doing this, I went through 24 oz of vinager ;) .. the toothpick worked!

SOURCE: Coffee Maker only brews 1 cup at a time

Hello. I just talked to Cuisinart and they recomended running a solution of 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water through the brew cycle, then a full pot of plain water to rinse, to remove hard water deposits. The phone # to Cuisinart is 1-800-726-0190. I hope all works out for you.

SOURCE: WIll not brew

Try this, worked for me:

Just today we've found that at the first water intake (on my B60, that's where the water container plugs into the base) on the base is a little circle valve type thing. That's where the water gets sucked out of the tank. Shine a flashlight into that circle, and you'll see a screen type thing there. It's like the screen in your faucet when you unscrew the tip and there are little rocks and stuff in it? Same principle: there were cotton fibers and other assorted weird stuff clogging that screen. Used a toothpick or a needle and removed all the debris from the screen, and it now works perfectly!

I have an older Pasquini Livia purchased in the early 90s. It continues to heat up and then the relief valve goes off. Is there a thermostat to replace?

Yes, remove the top panel on the right side is a p. stat with a microswitch on top, either that has to be replaced or the tube is blocked and it cannot read the steam pressure.

Pasquini livia 90 will power up for only few seconds and then shut down you know what iy maybe?

Try this open the steam valve when turning the machine on, if that works then the vent valve needs to be replaced, or the p.stat is damaged.

Pasquini Livia 90: heats up for about 5 minutes, then shuts off

Sounds like the pressure switch is not working properly and the safety is turning the machine off. Try checking the tube from the boiler to the pressure switch that might be blocked, if not then the pressure switch needs to be replaced.

Pasquini service in washington dc

Hi
If they are blinking slowly check this. Check the wire on the water reservoir to make sure that it is connected. You can try grounding this wire and see if the machine responds.
Water level may be low in the reservoir. Are you using distilled water or reverse osmosis water. Don’t. The computer can’t tell if have water in the reservoir, because it need’s minerals to conduct the small current for the computer. If they are blinking fast you may need a new computer.

Where can I get an owners manual for a Pasquinin, Livia 90?

I found a writeup about this machine below. It has a great deal of information that may help you out:

http://ix.cs.uoregon.edu/~michal/espresso/livia-90.html

Additionally, you can contact the maker directly, and they should be able to supply you with a printed owner's manual. Their web page is below:

All 3 lights on Livia lighting up with hot water use

Is this a Livia 90 semi or auto ?? It sounds as if you are talking about an auto. The autos have had a history of the cpu controller board going out. Probably going to have to take it in for service for proper diagnostic repair. Parts are not cheap and with no warranty- you don't want to start throwing parts at it to get it working right.
