Good Morning, Here are Step by Step Instructions on Setting Up Your Voicemail. Hope This Helps..

You must set up your mailbox the first time you use your U.S. Cellular Voice Mail. Please ensure you are using your wireless device for the initial set up.

Access your mailbox by dialing *86 or your 10-digit wireless phone number + SEND
Follow these prompts to set up your mailbox:
1. Choose English or Spanish as your language preference
2. Set up your 4-10 digit password
3. Record your voice signature
4. Record or select your greeting
Start using your Mailbox Password

To protect your privacy, the new Voice Mail system doesn't allow "easy-to-guess" passwords, including repeating digits (3333), consecutive digits (1234 or 4321) or ascending or descending even/odd numbers (2468 or 7531). Your choice of a unique password will be an important step in protecting your Voice Mail service.

I am not sure what kind of help you are needing... But If you are trying to call your voice mail number it is the same as your phone number.... Most of the time the default pass code is 9999... if this works for you please let me know..

Adding Voicemail for the First Time

Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
Select "Voicemail." The iPhone will prompt you to create a password for accessing your voicemail, then will allow you to record your first greeting.
Click "Save" to set your recording to your voicemail greeting

Recording a New Greeting

Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
Select "Voicemail."
Choose "Greeting > Custom."
Select "Record" and begin recording your voicemail greeting.
Hit "Save" to set your recording to your new voicemail greeting

Set up voice mail

What model phone do you have and which carrier? For example, with a Verizon iphone 5 these are the steps:

From the Home screen, tap Phone .
The Home screen is accessed by pressing the home button (located at the bottom of the device).
Tap Voicemail
You could be directed to the automated Voice Mail system at this time. If so, follow the voice prompts to set up your Voice Mail and greeting instead of completing the steps below.
Tap Set Up Now.
If the 'Set Up Now' pop-up does not appear, your voice mail has already been set up. Simply tap Greeting in the upper-left of the voice mail screen and begin at step 6.
Enter a password then tap Done.
The password must be between 4-6 digits in length.
Re-enter the password then tap Done.
Tap Custom to record a greeting.
To use a Verizon default greeting, tap (check) Default.
Tap Record to begin.
When finished, tap Stop.
Tap Save.

Iphone 4 - just got it and do not know how to retrieve my voice messages. It is asking for my password and I don't have one....

when you set up voice mail it has you make a password or try the site for where you got your phone. dial your own number takes you to voice mail

Deleted voice mail in error, is there anyway to retrieve?

Start by tapping the "Phone" icon on your iPhone.

2 Next, access your voice mail messages by tapping the "Voicemail" icon.

3 Look at your list of current voice messages. If you have any messages that are eligible for recovery, you'll see an item at the very bottom called "Deleted Messages". Tap on this to access a list of your deleted messages.

4 You should now see a list of deleted voice messages. If you see the message that you want to recover, tap on it and choose "Undelete".

5 Your voice message will now be sent back to the main list of current voice mail messages.

6 Repeat steps 1-5 for "each" message you wish to recover. This may take time!

Then check your voice mail number is entered correctly and not disbled by phoning your voicemal

Iphone virtual voicemail

To setup your voice mail just call your voice mail by holding down one.
And then after you set it up you can restart your iPhone and it will work.
