If this is between two screws when your looking at the front of the pump then it is in the suction gasket between the pump pot and the pump housing and the one you have could be a paper gasket and should be replaced with a rubber or cork one this can be done by removeing all four screws and gently pulling the two pices away from each other and clearing the old one out and putting the new one in. That is the hard part as there will be a extention comeing from the pump into the pot and is about two inches long you need to clear this with the new gasket and then just put the screws back in and fill with water.
If your looking from the back of the pump and the leak is between the motor and seal plate of pump then it has a bad seal and will need to be replaced. For this you seperate the half's of the pump by takeing the band clamp off pulling the front from the back then remove the five screws on the defuser pull it off if there is a screw in the center of the impeller, that is left handed and unscrews by turning clockwise. then unscrew the impeller and replace the seal. Reassemble pump with new "O" rings and fill with water.

Does anyone have a diagram on how to take the cabinet apart

I don't have a diagram but I can give you a walk through that I believe will help. The type of machine you have falls into the direct drive catagory. Here is the walk-through:
1) Unplug the machine. 2) At the head, or control panel, find the two screws that hold it to the case. Some are on the left and right front lower corners of the panel, and some are vertical facing s on the rear left and right side. Also on some models they are in the front but you have to pull the end caps off the sides of the control panel. Further more in some of the newer models you have to take a thin paint scraper and slide under the left and right normers to press the clips in to release. 3) Remove the 2 screws and then pull the panel from the lower part of it towards you and roll it backwards. 4) Disconnect the lid switch connection in the the middle where the two grey wires and the green wire block connects to the body of the machine, usually near the middle under the panel. 5) with a flathead screwdriver pop out the two brass retainer clips on the right and left side. 6) Open the lid slightly where you can grab the case, not the tub, just the case, and pull forward and surprise!!! You just took the complete top, sides and front of the machine off.

Kenmore 26842 Is leaking slightly. Small amount of water runs out from bottom of washer. What are the likely causes, how do I check, and what do I look for?

remove the two phillips screws holding down the top console, one on each side,if there is plastic covers on the end of the console remove the caps and then remove the screws.when you have the screws out flip up the console and with a screw driver pop the two clips and disconnect the lid switch harness closest to the right side clip, open the lid, grab the frame, tilt it forwards and pull back to remove the you can run it and see where the water is leaking from,if the washer doesn't run get a piece of wire, cut off the insulation off of the two ends and cut the wire around three inches, get the harness where the lid switch was plugged into, stick the jumper wire into the outside holes of the harness and the washer will run,the lid switch is just a safety, the manufacturer doesn't want the washer to run with the lid open so just jump out the lid switch, the middle hole is green and is the ground, just stick the jumper wire into the other two holes and the washer will run, check the pump and check to see if the tub seals are leaking,if the seals are leaking you'll see black dots one third of the way up from the bottom on all sides of the frame and the water will leak from the middle of the tub where the tranny. goes up into the tub, next time send the full model number,it will start with 110. or similar, also check all the hoses.let me know what you find.

98 jetta tdi glove compartment broken off,how to open glovvy?

on the sides of the glove box in the middle are catches. use a flat head screw driver to pry it open. kind of like getting into a locked house door. push the catch in. be carefull not to break the whole mec. get a latch from a junk yard. if you need a whole new box thats easy also. 3 screws inside the box up at the top and 2 on the outside 1 on each side. unscrew and it comes off with ease and goes back in just as easy. where the door stop is( the little part that keeps the door from opening fully down and everything falling out) pull on that spot on either side. you need to do that to get the right angle for the screws.

Small piece of cd broke off and is in the xbox need to open it to get piece out but do not know how to open the machine

you need a very fine flat head screw driver and a t10 screw driver
snap the front off the end that has usb
get a nail or similiar look on top and bottom air holes you will see a triangle filled holes these are where the clips are for the sides top and bottom
the back you will see 2 holes 1 end then 5 holes other end push in flat screw driver till you hear a click do this with all holes until back opens then undo clips at front
now you shold have the bottom off
6 t10 screws holding case back to your belly or nearset to you 2 end screws undo and middle 1 these are the long ones
then back 3 screws you will see from the left bottom screw and middle screw same across then right screw a bit furthe down towards you take these out make sure they are the long screws

Pavilion dv4 1431us how to remove the hard drive. Don't know which section is the hard drive screw to unscrew.

The Battery Compartment Cover is to the outside.
(By the way. Have all power sources removed from the laptop. The AC adapter {Charger}, and the Battery)

Laptop upside down, face the Battery Compartment to the top.
The long middle cover in the middle, under the Battery Compartment Cover is the Harddrive Compartment Cover.

On the Left side of the Harddrive Compartment Cover are two screws to remove. One in each outside corner.
After the screws are removed, lift up on the Left side to remove the cover.
(They may just loosen to a loosened state, and not actually remove)

The Harddrive Compartment Cover is 'hinged' on the right side, with a couple of plastic tabs coming from the cover itself. After it is tilted up far enough so that these tabs will come free from the slots they're in, the cover can be removed.

There are 3 screws which hold the Harddrive Caddy in place. (The Harddrive is mounted to a sheet metal Caddy, which goes across the top of the Harddrive, and down each side)

The first screw is in the Middle to the Left outside.
The other two screws are on the Right, and are on the corners.

After removing the screws you will see a Black strip of cloth/plastic coming from the Left side of the Harddrive/Caddy combo.

The Harddrive is eased up slightly on the Left side, and pulled to the Left side with the strip of cloth/plastic.
(On the Right side of the Harddrive is the interface. The pins that come out of the Harddrive. These pins insert into a female socket in the laptop)

The Caddy around the Harddrive is mounted to the Harddrive with 4 screws.
Two on EACH side.
Holding the Harddrive in the direction it came out of the laptop, (Interface pins to the Right), look at the mounting screw on the Right side.
The one that goes through the sheet metal Caddy, and fastens it to the Harddrive.

Now look at the same screw on the Left side. It goes through a tab.
Remove these screws, and DON'T loose them, or mix them up with the other screws.
(Use a multi-compartment container. You can use a clean egg carton in a pinch)

Remove the screws from the other side.
Install the new harddrive in the Caddy, then install the Harddrive/Caddy assembly in the laptop.
DO NOT overtighten the screws.

How to open Toshiba R25 Series Keyboard

t isn't that bad... The top strip comes right off if you pull up per the M400 manual. Unscrew the two keyboard screws and pull the keyboard (slowly) toward the monitor to give you some slack in the ribbon cable. Then fold the keyboard back over the touchpad. Unscrew the two screws holding down the metal panel in the middle where the keyboard is (be careful - they were very tight for me and I stripped one of the screws).

Put in your DDR2 4200 memory and be off and away...

Water is leaking out of the machine Im not quite sure where from.I guess pouring out would describe it better .It`s not coming from the door.

leaks are usually from valve /dispenser area on top left or from door boot. to check valves open top cover by removing 2 or 3 torx/ 1/4' screws at rear and slide back. check underside of dispenser for cracks, check rubber hose connecting valves to dispenser.
to open front and check around boot, remove top cover, remove screws beside dispenser opening (remove drawer) snap control console off starting at dispenser side. On older non teardrop front disconnect and remove interface cables from ccu at rear (ribbon cable in clips on right side. On new teardrop models remove teardrop by unsnapping at top then work down carefully, then unclip console starting at left, disco cables at right side of interface. remove lower kick panel with 3 screws on bottom. then remove 2 front panel screws. remove 2 door lock asm screws and spring clip around boot, then 2 front panel top screws. panel comes right off, carefull of boot. door lock stays behind.
