SOURCE: Compatable gigabyte ga 81915pm motherboard

you may not have to format
you should be okay
are you sure power supply is not going
remove cd drive and boot see if you can get to safemode
Are you sure you have'nt had pc opened and maybe loosened a memory
I still don't think it's the motherboard.I would go more for a memory or power supply problem
let me know

SOURCE: in my gigabyte g41-combo mother board sound driver

i dont at all think that it is a problem. If windows 7 is not detecting your built-in via 1708s sound card then try installing the latest drivers from the gigabyte website or the via official website. If that doesn't work then try installing an add-on sound card that you can buy from anywhere.

Is it safe running PCI-Express 3.0 card( Geforce GTX 650ti Boost) on Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2PT( PCI-E 1.1 ), or should i go with Geforce gtx 560ti (PCI-E 2.0). Help please...

Hello,

All cards a backwards compatible. So a PCI-E 3.0 will work in a PCI-E 1.0 Slot. You just can use a PCI-E 1.0 card in a PCI-E 3.0 Slot. To clarify you can safely go with the GTX 650ti. Happy gaming!!

Does GA-G41M-ES2L Motherboard support asus gtx 650 graphic crad?

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3500#ov

Specification:
Motherboard chipset;
Intel G41 Northbridge; Intel ICH7 Southbridge,
(The Intel ICH7 is also Intel part number 82801GB)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Motherboard_diagram.svg

(CPU = Central Processing Unit. Another term used is Microprocessor, or simply Processor for short)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_intel_chipsets#Core_2_chipsets

G41, scroll down towards the bottom of the chart.
(Past P45)
Introduced in the last quarter of 2009

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express#PCI_Express_2.0

The PCI Express 2.0 technology came out January 15, 2007

Means your PCI-Express x16 slot is based on the PCI Express 2.0 technology

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121725

The Asus GTX650 graphics card, (No matter which version), is based on the PCI Express 3.0 technology

PCI Express 3.0 technology is Backward Compatible, with PCI Express 2.0 technology,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express#PCI_Express_3.0

"PCI Express 3.0 Base specification revision 3.0 was made available in November 2010, after multiple delays. In August 2007, PCI-SIG announced that PCI Express 3.0 would carry a bit rate of
8 GigaTransfers per Second, (8GT/s), and that it would be backward compatible with existing PCIe implementations."

PCIe =PCI Express

So yes it will work, AND will work at FULL capacity.
Also your motherboard chipset (Northbridge), will support Intel processors that utilize an LGA 775 processor socket, AND up to an Intel Core2 Quad CPU. (Processor)

DOES TAKE SOME POWER, though!
You need a Power Supply that will not only deliver the necessary Wattage, for the computer system; but also need Up To an additional 150 Watts JUST for the graphics card itself.

Know what happens when you try to under power, a powerful graphics card?

Things BURN,
Or
The computer doesn't work

A) The contact pins in the PCI-Express x16 slot, will burn
B) The gold plated contact pins on the bottom, of the graphics card will burn

C) The graphics card requires more power, than the PCI-Express x16 slot can deliver.
A PCI-Express x16 slot can only deliver Up To 75 Watts.

A 6-pin PCI Express power cable is required.
This power cable can deliver Up To 75 Watts.

If there isn't enough power the contact pins, in the 6-pin PCI Express power cable will burn.
So will the contact pins for the power cable, on the graphics card.

The motherboard by itself requires 120 to 150 Watts.
Depending on Processor, Up To 130 Watts.
For each stick of Ram Memory add 25 Watts
25 to 30 for each Optical Drive. (CD/DVD drive)
2 to 3 Watts for each fan; to include the Processor fan, and computer case fans.

Now add 150 Watts for the graphics card.........

Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2H LGA 775 Intel G41 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3468#ov

A new hdmi connector, can be ordered by a gigabyte dealer.
But changing the connector, is not a do it your self job.

I suggest you to buy a graphic card, to add on the mainboard in the
1 x PCI Express x16 (orange slot) for better performance.
A new graphic card, does also have the hdmi connector

This will be the cheapest way to repair it.

Good luck

Can Gigabyte GA-G41M Motherboard will support pentium d 925 processor

Hi there
Without detailed info about which model of G41 board you have it is impossible to give a definitive answer as looking at the Gigabyte website, some do and some don't. If you go to this page,

http://www.gigabyte.com/search/search.aspx?kw=GA-G41M#pr-1

you will find a list of G41 boards. If you click on your board you will go to a page with several tabs, one of which is "support & downloads". If you click on this you will find a red label saying "CPU support list". If you click on this you will get a long list of the PUs supported by that particular mobo.
Good hunting
