Well, you could very well be behind a firewall that is blocking access to the port that these games need to use.

You will need TCP inbound and outbound access for this port. The games hosts are currently yog1.yahoo.com, yog2.yahoo.com, ... up to yog33.yahoo.com. You will need to do a nslookup on these hosts to find out the IP addresses.

Your firewall might be blocking these games for some reasons. Try to configure your firewall not to block them

Reinstall Java http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Its more than likely your computer as Yahoo is a huge company and if they had a problem like that it wouldn't stay that way very long... what you might want to do is uninstall java or whatever your computer uses for games and reinstall it..
