I have a CircuPool RJ30 i disconeted power cable to salt generator in fall now ready to install forgot where red and black and green wires hook up inside control box.
Hello, Garland -
The various CircuPool User's Guides do not have information on the wire hook ups for the control box:
http://www.circupool.com/circupool-userguides.php
Nor does the CircuPool Online Help page have that information:
http://www.circupool.com/help.php
Nor do the CircuPool Installation instructions:
http://www.circupool.com/how-to-install-a-salt-chlorine-generator.php
Therefore, I suggest you contact CircuPool directly and ask for the wire connection instructions:
http://www.circupool.com/compare-chlorine-generator-systems.php#contactForm
Note: Once you have the instructions, be sure to keep them in paper format where you can find them again easily for future seasons. :)
Best wishes.

SOURCE: wiring ceiling fans to wall switch
Hi Bigelow,
You need two switches. It sounds like the Electrician set up the junction box for two circuits(Lights and Fans). i say this because your supply has 4 wires, Red , Black, White and Bare. We may be able to oversome this with one Lutron Switch. Allow me to investigate, and I will be back.

SOURCE: hooking up the four prong cord to the dryer
this is the rule of thumb, white always goes on the middle terminal ,the 2 outside terminal wires it does not matter which side they are on,if you can see the red and black wire on the terminal block then match them up,the green wire gets mounted to the cabinet, you should already have a green wire to the cabinet so remove the screw and put both wires there and your done, let me know how you do-mike

SOURCE: Kenmore dishwasher power cord.
The green is the ground wire. Attach it to the screw inside the junction box.

SOURCE: trying to hook up a dimmer switch it has a red
For a single-pole installation:
1. Connect the 2 white wires together (one from the source and the other to/from the light fixture) - 2 wires
2. Connect the black wire from the source to the black wire on the dimmer switch - 2 wires
3. Connect the black wire to/from the light fixture to the red wire on the dimmer switch - 2 wires
4. Connect the ground wires - 3 wires

SOURCE: I need to change the dryer power cord on my Amana
The two wires on either side of the power cord are your HOT leads. They are the voltage carrying conductors. These two wires will connect to the terminal block on the RED and BLACK wires. The middle wire is NEUTRAL and goes to the WHITE wire at the terminal block. Now...with a 3-wire configuration you will need to connect a grounding strap to the neutral wire and ground it to the grounding lug of the appliance. The following link explains:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r793520-3_prong_4_prong_power_cord_conversion
The main difference between 3 and 4 wire configuration is how the neutral and ground wires are installed. In a four wire configuration these two are independent of each other. In a 3 wire configuration ground and neutral are connected together.
If you have any questions about this repair, please ask me. I hope this helps you.
